Chapter 22- Bad Day
Logan's POV
It was as if my world crumbled right in front of me.
One moment, I was laughing, holding a drunk girl steady as she stumbled, and the next—I saw it. Tyler. Kissing. Someone else.
My breath hitched. My entire body tensed, my stomach twisted. My grip on the girl tightened before I forced myself to let go. I couldn't react. I couldn't speak. All I could do was watch as jealousy—no, pure rage—burned through my veins like wildfire.
I turned my face away, clenching my jaw so hard it ached.
The girl I was helping giggled beside me. "I thought you said you don't like him? Or that you have nothing to do with him?" she teased, swaying on her feet. "So why do you look like someone just ran over your puppy?"
"Shut up," I snapped, barely glancing at her. "My expression wasn't because of them. I just… saw something else."
"Okay, Mr. Denial. Whatever helps you sleep at night."
