Chapter 24- Heated
Logan's POV
I stood there, watching as Tyler beat the guy to a pulp. Fists flew, the sickening crunch of impact echoing through the night, but I couldn't tear my eyes away.
A part of me was impressed. Tyler was a better fighter than I thought. I never expected him to be this skilled—this ruthless. Even as jealousy burned inside me, seeing him fight for that woman, I couldn't deny the pride swelling in my chest.
It wasn't a long fight, but it was enough. The guy lay on the ground, groaning in pain, while Tyler grabbed the woman's hand and pulled her along.
She giggled.
That giggle.
I wanted to rip that sound from her throat. Cut that smug little mouth off her face.
Tyler was furious—I could see it in the way his jaw clenched, his grip on her wrist tight. But she didn't care. She laughed, all giddy, like she had won something.
Tsk.
Not my problem.
