What can be considered a treasure?

Brandon was the largest dragon there was. His old scales alone could buy an entire country. But he did not have a treasure to speak of.

Just gold, glistering gems, and a homey cottage where he hid when the goings got tough.

One day, as he was collecting wild herbs, he found his treasure.

Beaten, with a slavery rune on him, barely alive.

Pan was not much, but to Brandon, he was a treasure.

A treasure fit for a dragon.

"Congratulations, Pan! You have level 1 Healing Mushroom of Cleansing! This can improve the immune system and be used in candy, for it is sweet!"

Pan blinked as he read Tania's message. Oh, he was happy that the mushroom had grown in the bucket with the wood chips. They had waited for so long.

Brunhilde, having braved the snow herself, to go to a village and get them everything, would be pleased.

"Tania, that mushroom was supposed to be a brainwashing one," Pan protested, as he took one mushroom from the bucket and ate it.

He licked his lips. It had about the same taste as caramel!

"Pan, dear, what did we say about you taking the dark path?" Tania was not a creature of mercy. When one told her that they were going to follow her rules, she held them to that.

"So, what is your plan? We heal the king?" Pan asked, reaching out for a second mushroom.
