Theseus scaredly walked out of his room, the bright lights irritated him but no matter where he looked he couldn't avoid them, he yawned and walked towards the entrance, with his mind still a bit hazy after his dream.
"Just what was that even… It felt horribly realistic but oh well, at least Musaqi will be there with me, I'm sure he'll protect me, I mean, with someone that strong what's the worst that could happen right?"
After walking for a while he arrives barely on time with Musaqi already being there, he didn't seem tired at all and in fact was quite relaxed, as if he gotten a full rest of sleep, Theseus approached him and greeted him.
"Good morning Musaqi, so, where are we going then?" Theseus was unsure what he was even going to do, let alone what experiences he'll get from this.
Musaqi smiled kindly "Good morning to you too, I'm surprised you're even here on time, and don't you worry about the destination, you could say it's Jun's home town of sorts, you can ask him about it when you're back."
Theseus nodded and Musaqi held his sword and got back into his stance, this time he faced a different wall, and slashed yet again like he had the other time, it created a ripple in dimensions for only about a few seconds, he quickly ran towards it and in a blink of an eye he was already inside of the ripple smiling gesturing Theseus to follow him, although confused he ran towards it as and barely made in time as the wall was healing itself, they began falling, seeing different colors, at first things around them were all purple but that then shifted towards green, blue, red, and even orange.
"Where the hell are we!" Theseus yelled.
"You don't need to worry about that, just follow me."
Eventually after falling for enough time, they arrived at a snowy place, though they were still falling through the sky, and just before Theseus was about to yell Musaqi commanded the winds themselves to swirl beneath him and Theseus so that they would catch them.
"See? Nothing to worry about Theseus." Musaqi would always smile no matter the situation, though it was always a soft smile.
"I'm still worried you know!!!" Theseus expressed himself
"About what? You're with me I don't think you understand, there's only a handful of people that could best me in a fight."
"Yeah but, still, oh well I guess you're right, regardless, why are we even in this snowy wasteland?" Theseus got reminded of his dream, the area was far too similar for his liking
"Well, I suppose I owe you that much at least, we're here to venture out to find a City with no name, that's the best way to describe it, the wild life here isn't too friendly but it shouldn't take too long to get there, but first, I must explain to you what you should expect here." He became stern and serious. "There are many wolves here that are purely made for hunting, do not even attempt to communicate nor befriend them, not only that but the snow itself here is filled with man eating parasites, if you do not rest near a fire at any point they will eat you alive, the only way for you to escape them is heat, as they are scared of it, and lastly, do not trust anyone within this area, even if they seem friendly you must always remember, everyone has a side they don't show, there is more to this place and more that even I do not know, but we don't need to think about that, the last thing I will teach you is my philosophy on life, sometimes you need to focus on either the tree, the forest or the leaf itself, there are moments in everyone's lives where it becomes increasingly easier if you focus on one of these things one at a time, now that is all I have to say for now." Musaqi afterwards let out a sigh of relief, he clearly didn't enjoy teaching let alone being serious.
Though Theseus understood what he was trying to say, and appreciated all of it. "Thank you for telling me all this Musaqi, take me wherever I'll be sure to follow you all the way through." The philosophy he told him really stuck to him.
"Alright then, I'll lower us down to ground level since I can't take us all the way to the city, besides, it's best you learn these things first hand." He moved his hands and the winds did exactly as he pleased.
They were slowly put down until finally their feet touched the ground. "It will take us about a day to arrive there with your speed, so we will need to camp out at some point, I also want you to fight one of the wolves here, to make sure you're strong enough to get to our destination." Musaqi's smile dwindled.
"Me? Fight? I mean sure but, I thought you were going to protect me no?" Theseus seemed a bit scared but trusted Musaqi.
"And I will, but I need to know you won't die in a heartbeat, these wolves are quite experienced fighters, so if you can take one out I'll feel more confident in my job."
"Sure I mean, if it helps you feel more at ease, I'm sure I can take one on anyways." He gave him a thumbs up and smiled grinning.
Musaqi felt a little better, and so they began walking towards their destination, most of the area around them was filled with stone, there were huge ice crystals that made the iceberg that destroyed the titanic seem like a joke, mountains that were taller than mount Everest, and caves that seemed to have beasts within, old ruins could be seen scattered across the snow now and then, ancient structures made out of stone, they seemed to be something part of something important but it was too hard to tell, Theseus was amazed by all of this but the cold didn't help.
"Musaqi? I'm getting a little too cold is there a fire nearby?" Theseus shivered and rubbed his hands together blowing on them.
"Next time tell me sooner, it's easier than you think to get frostbite here, and even if that did happen it'd be tough for me to save you then, but sure we can rest for a bit." Musaqi waved his hand in the general direction and a massive fire bursted from the ground killing most of the parasites in the ground, they both sat down near it cleansing themselves of the parasites and heating up their bodies.
"Whew, this is great, but may I ask you something?" Theseus grew curious.
"What is it?" Musaqi didn't mind questions too much.
"So, how is it that you can do all this? Is it part of being a Sword Saint?"
"Haha, well back when I was your age I used to train with the sword, everything I can do now is because of how much I trained, and even now I still train, now the whole Saint part is different, I was fighting a very tough opponent who was completely immune to physical attacks, and just when I was about to die I gained my Second Wind, granting me the power to control and command all the elements, I'm surprised I even got something like this and I am grateful for whoever gave me this." Musaqi stares at the fire in appreciation
"Maybe I shouldn't tell him he mainly just got lucky." "Still that's a pretty strong Second Wind, I thought yours had to do with your sword, I never knew training could even result in something like that, superhuman isn't even a strong enough word to say half the things you do." Theseus was impressed, he never knew someone could genuinely be this strong.
"You give me too much credit, but I can't exactly blame you. You should learn these things when you're young, the world is vast and strength is just one of the many things that are hidden, people always think that everything is discovered yet they have no idea just how much of it is unknown, and always remember Theseus, life is a journey not a destination, there will be many ups and downs, anyways, I think its about time we head to sleep for the day." Musaqi created a bigger flame and snuffed it out quickly, he then commanded the earth to create two separate rooms for Theseus and himself, both with a fire indoors and outdoors.
"Thanks a lot for all the advice it means a lot, and trust me, if anyone is going to discover all there is with this world it's me, I'll make sure to document it all and put it all into one book! If not many!" Theseus laughed and smiled happily, Musaqi saw a bit of himself in him, he was sure he was going to do great things, and soon after, they both fell asleep.
