I missed the times when Francis would say I was being petty. I could swear at that point that it felt like I couldn't breathe.
"Your father wouldn't dare to disobey me," he added and I swallowed.
"Good night," I said. I gave him a peck and turned towards the other side.
"That's all I get?" Francis asked and I nodded. I was still lying in masculine hands.
"Stop being so petty Francis and just sleep," I answered with my eyes completely shut.
I had never felt so shy my whole life.
"Promise me you'll let me do it when we get to silver village," he said.
"Sleep," I answered…. somebody, tell Francis to stop asking for it like he's asking for bread.
"Promise me," he repeated.
"Please Francis, just sleep," I answered, trying to hide my face.
