The Duke ran up the hill without stoping. His eyes were fixed on his one and only daughter, ignoring his haggard gasps. He only wished to see if she was safe and unharmed.
Camelia looked at him with wide eyes. She hesitated for a moment, but his emotion drawned her. She dismounted from Storm, and almost falling from the sadle.
Atherion was right on time to catch her, and he gently set her on the snowy ground. Camelia glanced at Atherion, who nodded at her. She then ran to the Duke.
The Duke stopped before her, and hugged her tightly, with tears streaming down his face.
"My baby... My baby..."
His emotions overflowed with relief as being able to hug his daughter again.
Camelia embraced him with mixed emotions. She cried as she recalled her memories of her late father. She never imagined she would have the chance of experience having a father again.
Atherion approached them, his expression softening.
The Duke cupped Camelia's face on his palm, and asked her, "Are you hurt anywhere? Oh... how skinny you are right now..."
"I am okay, Father. I was about to ask you the same, how are you, Father..." Camelia smiled at him.
"I was miserable without you, my child. How could you leave me alone..." The Duke's voice trailed off. He glanced at Atherion with suspicious eyes.
"You are far too strong for a mere human. Are you The Darkness?" he asked, his teary eyes replaced with hatred. "You were the one who kidnapped her, didn't you?!"
Atherion answered him indiferently, "I am not sure. I don't call myself that."
The Duke suddenly pushed Camelia behind his back, as if wanting to protect her. "You better stay away from her, you demon."
Atherion's jaws hardened.
"F-father!" Camelia shouted in disbelief. "What are you doing?"
"You can't be with this demon, Camelia. He is dangerous. He might kill you...!"
"Father!" Camelia broke free from her father's grip and ran to Atherion.
"He is not a demon, he is a good man. A demon would kill people without hesitation!" she shouted with flushed face, her eyes filled with anger.
Atherion watched the scene unfolded before his eyes with amusement. 'Camelia is defending me...'
However, The Duke, stared at his daughter in disbelief. He was about to refute, but Atherion spoke with a cold tone, "We should not stay here too long. The Queen's army may come anytime soon."

Nefaria Kingdom, The Queen's Chamber
Two maids place a tray full of fruits and a bottle of wine on to the sofa table at the Queen's chamber. They hurriedly left with fear evident in their eyes.
The Queen and Sarkan sat leisurely on the sofa, drinking their wine.
The Queen's eyes narrowed, "The Calonia dares to come to my country with that many troops," she hissed.
Sarkan lifted his wine cup and pointed it to the Queen then said confidently, "I have sent our troops to deal with them."
Nefaria smirked and took a sip from her cup. "I will claim that puny kingdom and get thousands of their men to be my meal," she said. Her eyes gleaming dangerously with a purplish hue.
Sarkan laughed and rose to approach her. His eyes glistened with a visible lust.
"Your eyes make me want to devour you," he said while taking the queen's cup away. He began to kiss her neck, his hands roaming over her body.
The Queen let out a soft moan, enjoying his kisses.
Sarkan's hands started to rub the Queen's chest, and slide inside her dress, trying to find her nipple.
"Aghhhh..." Nefaria let out another moan, and made Sarkan pinched and played with it.
Between her rising up desire to get laid, the Queen whispered, "You must go and deal with the remaining troops of Calonia...aaahhh..."
Lifted up her dress, he pleaded, "Let me enjoy you before I go there, please, my Queen." Then he licked her part greedily.
And what was left from their discussion, was the sound of their lustful voices.

Atherion led the Duke and a few knights to the hideout of Malakar's survivors. They galloped their horses through the snowy field and mountain at a fast pace.
It was Camelia who persuaded her father to come, and find a way to help them.
But still, the Duke glanced at them with unhappy expression. 'Why would Camelia stick with him as if she doesn't want to leave his side? Is she fall in love with him?' Those thoughts swirled in his mind, making him felt uneasy.
He knew long ago, that her daughter was prophecized as the Light. And he knew many people who wanted to control the Darkness, would try to take her away.
However, he never imagined that the Darkness itself would take her as if she belonged to him.
'She will be in constant danger...' he thought with a sad face.
Atherion, who knew what's The Duke's thinking, pretended not to notice. The only matter he was worried about, was Kimi, not Camelia, would leave him, as she would get all the luxuries everyone could dream of, if she stayed with the Duke.
Soon, they arrived at the cave. After tying their horses inside the cave, they walked deeper into the large alcove, where the people were staying.
Suddenly, a few men with their swords drawn stopped them.
They were ready to face the intruders, but when they saw Atherion and Camelia, they lowered their weapons.
Galen, who was with those men, stepped forward and asked Atherion, "Who are these peoples?"
"They are the Duke Valois men from Calonia. They will rescue all of you," Atherion said.
Galen's face lit up, and facing the Duke and the army, he asked, "Really? Will you be able to rescue us?"
The Duke nodded. He looked back all the people at the alcove with a sad face, and said, "I will take all of you to Calonia as soon as possible."
The people began to murmur, some cheering and others crying.
And Camelia, while holding Atherion's arm, cried to see those people's emotions.
