Princess Shuri lightly tapped the interface in front of her, and four vibranium spider legs extended from the back of the cylindrical container's nanotech vibranium spider suit.
The appearance of this spider suit left Peter slightly surprised.
"Did you guys... pay Stark for the copyright?"
The current design of the nanotech vibranium spider suit looked strikingly similar to the Iron Spider suit that Iron Man had prepared for Holland Spider.
The main differences lay in the color scheme and proportions.
Holland Spider stood at only 173 cm, whereas Peter was 180 cm tall, making him noticeably taller by about half a head.
In terms of physique, perhaps due to Peter already being an adult, his body—also enhanced by spider genes—appeared more robust compared to Holland Spider.
Holland Spider's build resembled that of Miles Spider; both had the youthful, not-fully-matured look.
Perhaps even among mutants, age influences how their abilities manifest.
Princess Shuri then focused on introducing the only weapon embedded in the nanotech vibranium spider suit.
She explained, "Although both are vibranium, the vibranium used to make these spider legs is quite different from the vibranium used in the suit itself."
Peter was curious. "There are different kinds of vibranium?"
Shuri nodded.
She grabbed her wrist, and from the Kimoyo beads, a series of holographic images projected in front of Peter.
"In reality, there are currently two types of vibranium, along with a synthesized vibranium-based metal."
"Several decades ago, a batch of vibranium accidentally leaked out of Wakanda. Scientists, by combining vibranium with steel alloy and a certain catalyst, synthesized a new type of ultra-elastic alloy. Later, it was used to create Captain America's shield. They named this metal: Adamantium!"
"Adamantium has a higher density than vibranium, making it significantly more lethal. Vibranium, on the other hand, due to its unique properties, is better suited for defense."
Peter nodded slightly—he already knew about this.
He even knew that in a certain parallel universe where mutants existed, there was a certain Wolverine, who refused to reveal his real name, with an entire skeleton infused with adamantium.
Shuri continued, "After discovering adamantium, we managed to obtain its formula. However, the required catalyst was likely an accidental discovery on their part and is not reproducible."
"By further expanding upon their research, we developed a new form of vibranium—Vibranium B!"
"Unlike traditional vibranium, Vibranium B does not absorb vibrational energy. Instead, it emits a unique wavelength of vibrational waves! These waves can break molecular bonds in almost all metals, including adamantium, turning them into liquid!"
"So, the spider legs on this suit have two attack modes. In melee mode, the suit's internal AI system will assist in coordinating your movements for close combat. In ranged mode, the tips of all four spider legs can emit vibrational waves, with a maximum effective range of 200 meters. The closer the target, the stronger the effect. Theoretically, at around 100 meters, it can destroy most metals. Within 10 meters, it can instantly break down adamantium!"
"But there's one thing you need to be careful about. While Vibranium B is also very strong, it does not possess the energy-absorbing properties of regular vibranium, making it quite brittle. Try to avoid using it for defense."
Peter nodded repeatedly.
He didn't really understand the underlying principles behind all this—he just needed to know how to use it.
In short, the suit is a shield, designed for defense, while the spider legs are a spear, specialized for attack.
Don't use the shield to attack, and don't use the spear to defend.
Just let each do its job.
After introducing the suit's abilities, Shuri asked Peter for his opinions on some of its finer details.
Another hour passed before the final adjustments to the suit were completed.
Princess Shuri walked over to Peter, holding a necklace, and handed it to him.
Just as Peter was about to take it, Shuri playfully winked and pulled it back. "Aren't you going to give it a name?"
"Uh…" Peter hesitated for a moment before replying, "How about 'Medal of the Leopard Spider'? A symbol of the friendship between Spider-Man and Black Panther."
The leopard spider was a species of tarantula that was quite common in Peter's homeland before he crossed over. It fed on pests like aphids and corn borers.
In both the Ultimate Spider World and this one, Peter had never visited the country that resembled his homeland.
That's because, in his heart, his true home would always be the one from before his journey across worlds.
Whether it was the concept of the Time-Space Spider-Man or the Medal of the Leopard Spider, they were all echoes of his thoughts about that past world.
Of course, he didn't say any of this out loud.
However, T'Challa and Shuri clearly approved of the name.
T'Challa chuckled, patted Peter on the shoulder, and said to Shuri, "Shuri, don't tease him. Give him the Medal of the Leopard Spider."
Peter took the medal from Shuri and examined it.
Per his request, the necklace was designed to be as low-key as possible.
The chain itself was a simple black loop—unassuming in appearance but made from a rare Wakandan composite fiber reinforced with a special metal. It had undergone polishing and treatment to be heat-resistant, corrosion-proof, and impervious to most blades.
Additionally, the necklace had an identity recognition function.
Once bound, no one except Peter—not even T'Challa or Shuri—could open it.
Its security was truly top-notch.
Peter put on the Medal of the Leopard Spider and, under the expectant gazes of the T'Challa siblings, lightly tapped the gemstone pendant on the necklace.
Whoosh—
The pendant emitted a faint glow, swiftly enveloping his entire body.
In the blink of an eye, a sleek and battle-ready suit wrapped around Peter.
To his surprise, despite being made of vibranium, the suit was surprisingly breathable. It must have some kind of built-in air circulation system.
The comfort level was exceptional as well. It had even adjusted to fit snugly over Peter's existing clothing.
Hmm, with this suit, I probably won't need to apply baby powder to my joints anymore, right?
Peter suddenly recalled one of the "Spider-Man Survival Tips" that an older Peter Parker had shared with him in the Ultimate Spider World.
If there was one downside to this suit, it was probably its weight.
The nanotech vibranium spider suit weighed around 30 kg in total.
Compared to an actual Iron Man suit, that was practically nothing—but for a Spider-Man who relied on agility and wall-crawling, it felt a bit on the heavier side.
Of course, complaining about it would be petty.
Because the advantages of the Nanotech Vibranium Spider Suit far outweighed this minor inconvenience!
