Chapter 16 : Buggy The Clown

"Gyahahahahahaha…." Laughed a man who was drinking and eating surrounded by others.

"Once I fought with a goldfish which was as big as an Island. Do you know how big that fish was…" Asked the man as he slammed his drink down and looked everyone else in the eye.

"How big captain ?"

"That fish has to be very big right…"

"Yes yes, it is almost as big as an Island."

Murmurers broke out among the people around him after hearing this from the Captain. Everything was expecting a great story of their captain.

"Gyahahahahahaha… it was so big that it even its turd was named as an island on its own… Gyahahaha." Replied the captain and others who were eating and drinking for a moment paused, thinking about a mountain of poop from a fish suddenly making them even smell the thing and their stomach started to upturn, it wasn't helping that they were eating and drinking right now.

A few new members who weren't experienced put the food down, trying hard to get that image out of their minds while many didn't even care, they were too used to this kind of thing by now that nothing stopped them from drinking and eating to their heart contents.

"What happened next Captain…" One of the members asked out, interested in knowing what their captain did to fight a fish which was the size of an entire island.

"He hide himself in that turd and waited for the fish to miss him before running away…"

"Yeah Yeah.. I hide myself inside the turd until… Cough cough…" The man almost spit out his wine as he realized what he was saying.

Unfortunately for him he almost choked on his drink and started to trash around to get his breath back, comically his mouth was sullen to epic proportions as he took the air in.

"Ahff, Ahff… bastard who said that ?" Angry he shouted to find the culprit. But upon seeing that everyone else was no longer drinking and eating but rather had their weapons in their hands, ready to fight, he too looked in the direction where they were looking.

"BUGGY THE CLOWN, I'm here to take your head…"

[Ragna's Pov]

It was easier than I expected to find Buggy, that low-life thug personally led me to his place and for their good work, I even rewarded them by breaking their leg and throwing them into the sea.

As soon as I entered this place, I could smell the strong smell of booze and food.

*Growl…

My stomach sounded and I couldn't help but purse my lips, I just ate not so long ago. This damn body needs food every two hours like a 2-year-old.

Sigh.

I soon found the target I was looking for, it was hard to miss him honestly with that big bright red nose of his.

The man was really like a joker, the exaggerated faces he made and the clear lies he was sprouting, fish with the size of an entire island. Not even something like Godzilla but a goldfish… Can't help but just roll my eyes at these obvious lies.

Not even get me started with a poop which was big enough to name an entire island.

He was surrounded by what I can only say was an entire circus of his own. Cannons, red pompoms, people who walk on ropes, he got everything.

The most impressive was a giant lion sitting and munching on a piece of meat, undisturbed and unhindered.

It could have been scary to me if I came to this world just recently but by the time I left the Lost Island, I was hunting boar almost the same size as this guy so yeah.

"My head you say… Gyahahahaha." For a few seconds he looked surprised but finally, he started laughing and so did others around him after hearing what I had to say.

"Boys, did you hear what he said he gonna cut my head off…" Buggy once again shouted and laughed even harder. His people mimicking him to the ditto.

At first, I just thought that they were looking down on me, but the way they were laughing made me think otherwise for some reason.

Sighing and seeing no end to their laughter, I just went ahead and kicked the nearest person to me, sending him flying back.

*thud…

The man fell a few meters away and was knocked out with just one kick. This finally silences their laughter.

"The next person laugh will not be so lucky to just get kicked…" I said as I slowly took out Sandai Kitetsu and pointed at Buggy.

Wasn't interested much in those third-grade waste, only Buggy got the bounty on his head so as long as I'm done with him, I can leave here and go after another pirate.

The silence my action brought was finally broken only after a man with a nasty grin on his face came forth on a one-wheel unicycle.

I mean why not, it's a circus right, they got a lion and everything.

The man was wearing a blue open coat with a blue and wide pattern scarf around his neck. He had dark green hair were covered his entire one side while only making his one eye visible.

"I'm Cabaji the Acrobat of the Buggy Pirate. I'll be your opponent, Swordsman." He said as he took out a sword from somewhere making me baffled.

Not about a sword which magically appears out of somewhere but the name of the pirate crew.

"You sure it's not Red Nose Pirate," I asked in confusion as I heard others calling it Res Nose Pirates.

When I said this, suddenly all of them stiffened up like they ate something sour.

"Who…Who are you calling Red Nose…" Suddenly a shout came, making everyone look at their captain.

"Of course, I'm talking about you, ain't you name the pirate group after that nose of yours ?" I asked, confused what the man was so angry about.

"Y..you.. you will regret this. Cabaji, change of plan. Don't play anymore. Bring me head I will put it on display for anyone who will call me Red Nose from now on." Buggy shouted, veins popping on his head.

"Aye Captain." Cabaji, who too was looking like a statue after I called Buggy Red Nose, immediately replied.

Ragna saw the man masterfully using his unicycle and rushing at him, it was crazy how well he was able to balance himself in that cycle of his.

He took out his sword and slash at Ragna and while Ranga don't have much experience fighting with swords, but at this time his training kicked in and he block the incoming sword with his own sword.

But what he wasn't expecting was that man to take out another knife with his other hand and try to stab him.

His eyes widen, seeing the knife coming directly for his heart and in panic rather than dodging, he pushes the man back with all my force.

It turns out that even if one can balance on top of a unicycle, it doesn't give one the same degree of stability and resistance as one own legs.

The cycle was pushed back and so was the man before his knife pierced Ragna's heart.

"Pirates will be pirates, after all, underhanded tricks…" Muttered Ranga with irritation. He won't lie, staying with so many Marines for 2 months has not done any favours to his perspective of Pirates.

"Such strength." Cabaji was alright just lost balance for a few seconds. However he felt the swordsman in front of him push himself, but he wasn't able to stop himself at all. He looked at the man, his usual grin gone as he saw the young swordsman cursing him for his underhanded techniques. 

Cabaji was by no means a weak person, but to be able to push him back like that says about the strength of the man in front of him.

"Richie go…" Ragna was about to continue his attack, using this moment when his opponent lost his balance he was planning on ending this fight in one attack, however, that was when he heard this.

He heard someone shout and that was when the giant lion who was earlier happily munching on meat stood up and launched himself towards Ragna.

Everyone cheered seeing the giant lion Richie pounce on the man's young swordsman but it felt like just before Richie was about to attack the man the image of the man flickered.

And the next second everyone's jaw was on the ground when they saw Richie the lion fall to the ground and blood start to leak out.

"Stay here, I'll eat you later once I take his bounty…" Ragna said as he pointed at Buggy. At the last moment when the lion attacks him, he masterfully sidesteps the incoming attack and with his sword slashes the underbelly of the lion.

It wasn't a lethal attack by the Lion ain't getting up for some time.

However, just as he was about to cut all this nonsense and directly attack the captain to get his bounty, he saw the Buggy's hands were gone ???

*Stab…

A piercing pain ran through his bad, he didn't even see the attack coming. Blood slash and when he saw back he saw hands floating in the air stabbing him.

"Gyahahaha.."
