It was morning already. Emma had grabbed the Wishing Box intending to make sure that Camaila and Luna's family had known the truth.
She didn't want to look like some insane lair. Emma had genuinely wanted to repay them for what she had done with the only solution that she could think of, killing herself too.
Emma was about to leave her home, when she saw her mom sleeping on the couch. Seeing her mom, Emma didn't really want to leave. But she had to because it was the only way she could forgive herself and for her friends and family to forgive her too.
Glancing at her mom one more time Emma had left. She was heading to school first to tell Camaila of what she'd done. Truthfully she had been too scared to tell Luna's family first, if she was Luna's family the first thing that she would have done was try to kill her.
After a few minutes the sun had started to gradually rise and Emma had already reached where she had usually bumped into Camaila. Emma really didn't want to go to school for the last day of her life so she had tried to find Camaila before she could have reached school.
Emma had been waiting under a tree nearby the sidewalk they had met. She had been waiting there for twenty to ten minutes for Camaila to come. Emma had been freezing the whole time, The weather had been quite terrible that day.
She had just given up waiting for Camaila, and instead just had gone to school to search for her there. Emma had just begun walking when someone had called out her name.
It was none other than Camila. She had just spotted Emma under the tree.
Camila had asked her what she was doing there.
"I was waiting for you, I want to tell you something… I'll get straight to the point, I killed Luna" Emma had responded.
"You didn't, she died from a heart attack Emma. Are you alright" Camilla inquired with a stern face.
"I did. I did it with this thing over here," Emma said while moving the Wishing box in her hand to lure Camila's gaze
"It can grant most wishes that you ask of it. I wished Luna to die," Emma announced, while looking at the ground in shame.
Camalia had looked at Emma instantly, like she had thought of Emma as a crazy person.
Holding the Wishing box even tighter she had muttered
"I wish for a flame trapped in a jar"
Almost instantaneously A clear jar had appeared in the middle of the two. The jar had a small fire. The small flame had looked like it was completely fine despite its lack of oxygen.
Camila had started at the jar that appeared right in front of her. Her mouth had unhinged itself at the odd sight.
"I'm sorry for killing her. I really am, and I know that saying sorry isn't enough to repay you for what I have done. I intend to do something to make up for it" Emma declared.
Camalia hadn't known what to do; she was still surprised by the jar… and the supposed truth of Luna's death. Although she had been overwhelmed by how much that just happened Camalia had been sure of one thing, or at least wanted to be. There was no way that Emma had killed her from that wish, she could have… Camila didn't even really know what to think about how it couldn't have been Emma. Camalia had wanted to say something but then she realized that Emma had already left.
Emma had left as soon as she said that; not wanting to continue the conversation further. She had headed towards Mrs. Zoe's place with her hands still tightly clutching the Wishing Box.
The walk towards Mrs. Zoe's place had been longer than it should have taken. Emma was still terrified about telling Mrs. Zoe. She had actually been contemplating on just leaving a letter there so that they could know about what she had done with Emma not being there herself.
But she could do that, it wasn't fair to them that they didn't even get to see the kid's killer's face. They might not even believe the letter too.
Emma had arrived at Mrs.Zoe's place. Before she could even knock on the door, a man had opened the door, it was Mrs.Zoe's son.
"What are you doing here? Dont you got school," He had asked with a mug in his hand.
"I killed you daughter," Emma announced.
"Go to school," he replied.
"I seriously did. I did it with this thing. It can grant wishes, and I wished that your daughter would die." Emma explained hurriedly.
"I wish for a gold coin with my face on it" Emma shouted.
It didn't take long for the coin to appear in her hand. When it did Emma had given it to the man.
"See, I did kill her"
