Status Unlocked

Avon searched for a suitable safe place for such a sacred piece of knowledge. After some seconds of frequent turning and searching, the system came up with an idea.

[The Inventory.]

"Inventory, where is that?"

[It is located in your status]

"Status?", Avon asked inquisitively.

[Status is a special feature given to the special Blazers along with all the other perks and benefits of being chosen. It is more like a virtual aid with me being the audio.]

"Ok..ay", Avon said as if he had understood what the system just said. "So how do I get there?"

[First, focus your vision and the bottom right corner of your vision.]

There was an icon there. He had never noticed that before probably because it just popped up after he awoke.

He focused his vision on the icon and something happened.

There was a screen clothing his entire vision though it was a bit transparent. He saw tabs displaying different information.

Everything there was arranged in an orderly manner and was statistical based. All the information displayed gave their own different numerical analysis from his outer description to his inner powers and abilities.

At the top, his level and rank were displayed in bold, white text - Level 1 and beside that was his blazer rank - Beginner Blazer.

The level was alternatively displayed using a bar transitioning from red to green as a meter to ascending to the next rank.

Beside the rank there was a small crest inscribed just beside it.

"System, what is that crest beside my rank", Avon asked, aware that such a mark looked familiar to him as Kareal exposed him to a lot of ancestry.

[That is the ancient crest of the dragons]

"You mean the ones that chose me", his curious nature took peesisted.

[Yes]

"So when can I meet them?", he asked once more.

[In time, but your mission come first]

Below his level, his physical abilities were displayed.

Beginner Blazer - Level 1

Strength - 50/100

Agility - 45/100

Speed - 65/100

Stamina - 60/100

Intelligence - 50/100

Vitality - 30/100

Magic - 0

HP - 100/100

EXP - 0/100

SP - 0

"Wow, impressive and I only just awoke. Looks like all those training with Kareal really did pay off", Avon said as he glanced through that section of his status.

He continued exploring his status.

The bottom of the status seemed to be occupied by a few tabs.

One read map and the other inventory and another element, with the rest left to be later explored.

He focused his attention on the inventory tab and another screen opened up. It was filled with empty tabs that seemed to scroll down till infinity.

[This is a place where you can store objects, meals and basically anything.

Objects stored here don't undergo any change between when they are put in and when brought out. Here time entirely pauses for any object placed here. To store the object try to will them into the inventory and they will go within. And to take them out, do the same and they will appear right in front of you.]

Avon did as the system said and willed the Arkanem into the inventory and as the system said it vanished from his hand.

He looked at the Inventory and saw it now had an item.

A notification interrupted his experiment showing,

[New item acquired, The Arkanem.]

He willed it out to complete his experiment and it faded in again into his hand.

"Wow, works like a charm. Better put it back in for safe keeping", Avon said as he willed it back in.

He decided to check the other tabs he saw earlier - Map.

He focused on it and another screen appeared.

It was a map of his current location and it displayed the names of the contemporary landmarks and towns in the area.

There was a white dot - for light on the map representing his location representing him.

The map virtually captured the entire earth from a sky view. He could see Mount Eryndor, the surrounding view and nearby towns only from a virtual view - he couldn't see what was actually going on in those areas.

It was like travelling the world without actually doing it.

An idea then popped in his head.

If he could track his mana signature from the map, it meant that he could also track that of other blazers and demons.

He could finally check if there were other blazers in the world and fulfill his long dream of meeting them.

He scrolled around, focusing his energy on the mana, searching through the surrounding areas.

He closed his eyes to get a better mental picture.

He felt the mana from the creatures in the magical forest surrounding the mountain.

He extended his focus to the outskirts of the forest and felt one. It was in a village - Aeloria not to far from the mountain.

The mana signature soon came up on the map. It appeared as a red dot - fire.

After he was done, he felt a bit dizzy. It was only his first time and if sappped a lot out of him.

"The blazer of fire", Avon said in exhaustion and dizziness.

He was relieved that there were truly still more blazers out there.

He was excited.

He thought that if he met him or her that they could teach him more about being a blazer.

He was filled with energy anew.

He couldn't wait to meet him.

"Are there any other special features in this status", Avon said as he searched through the other tabs.

He scrolled for some time while adventuring some other tabs.

One read element. He opened it up and there were numerous elements displayed there but they all had lock marks on each of them. Only the one at the top - light wasn't locked.

He was about to ask the system another question when it spoke as if it almost read his mind.

[The other elements will be locked for security purposes and better understanding of each of their capabilities before use]
