Snow Condenses 2

Yarr furrowed his brow when he saw Leah's determination. "Junior, you're not my match. As long as I'm here, you can't hurt them."

Since Leah had already decided to fight, she stopped speaking and concentrated her energy, gathering a faint blue light around her fists. She lightly tapped the ground with one foot and then threw a heavy punch at Yarr.

Seeing the force behind Leah's strike, Yarr didn't dare to underestimate her. A red light enveloped his body as he moved to meet her, silently thinking, "This girl has no defense and is concentrating all her power into her fists. She's willing to fight to the death!"

Leah might be ready to risk everything, but Yarr couldn't afford to. He was far more cautious than Alan, and he understood the potential consequences of killing or severely injuring one of the only two heirs of House Stark in a single day. The fallout would be unimaginable.

As two of the academy's finest students, the fight between them was fierce. Every exchange left the onlookers amazed, whispering, "This is truly a peak battle at the academy!"

Although Leah had been somewhat outclassed at first, her anger pushed her forward, and soon, she was relentlessly pressing Yarr, who struggled to keep up with her ferocity. However, as time passed, Leah began to tire from the massive exertion and began losing ground.

Yarr saw an opportunity as Leah's energy waned. He seized it, intending to strike her down, but before she could avoid it, his heavy punch, accompanied by a surge of red energy, landed squarely on Leah's chest. Blood spewed from her mouth as she collapsed to the ground, her clothes stained with crimson.

Just then, the pendant she wore in her chest, now stained with blood, emitted a faint hum. An icy force spread from her chest, radiating through her limbs.

Slowly, Leah rose, eyes fixed on Yarr. "You forced me into this."

Yarr, unable to do anything but shake his head with a bitter smile, realized the match was far from over. Despite their similar levels of power, he had still managed to wound her.

Just when everyone thought Leah had been defeated, an unexpected change occurred.

Leah closed her eyes, focusing on the cold force within her. The blue light surrounding her grew stronger, intensifying far beyond its previous power. She seemed to be cloaked in frost, a chill emanating from her. Her hair, once dark, began to turn white.

To everyone's shock, a silver spear appeared in her hand. The spear gleamed with icy sharpness, and intricate carvings ran along its body. The tip shimmered with a deadly brilliance, and though the design was ancient, it was breathtakingly beautiful.

Leah opened her eyes, surprised by the weapon in her hand. It felt as if the spear and her will were one. The mysterious markings on its shaft seemed to shift and transform into words in her mind.

The spear was called Snow Condenses, forged from the essence of extreme cold. It had never had a master until now. The spear was linked with a complete set of spear techniques, called "Snow Shadow," and the two were meant to work in harmony, creating a unique combat style.

Leah attempted to move the spear according to the techniques engraved on its shaft. Despite its large size, it moved with incredible ease in her hands. As she swung the spear, snowflakes drifted from the blade, freezing in mid-air. Her movements were graceful, like a celestial being dancing alone in the snow, a scene that captivated everyone around her.

Yarr was transfixed, unable to look away. Just as he was mesmerized by the sight, Leah spun the spear toward him. Even before the tip reached him, he could already feel a piercing chill that rooted him to the spot. What he didn't realize was that the true power of this spear lay in its ability to freeze the opponent in place.

"Snow dances like a swan in flight, the cold brilliance strikes, and once seen, never again," the opening verse of the technique echoed in Leah's mind.

As the spear tip neared Yarr's forehead, a soft voice called out, "Stop..."

A golden light flashed, and a figure appeared, grabbing Yarr and pulling him out of harm's way. Yarr, grateful for his narrow escape, immediately bowed and said, "Thank you, Headmaster, for saving me."

In this moment, only the stunningly beautiful headmaster of Norton Academy could have rescued him.

Annis, the headmaster, let out a relieved sigh when she saw that Yarr was safe. "What an impressive girl. Even I would have a hard time escaping unscathed from that strike."

Leah remained silent, her grip tight on the spear, glaring at Annis.

Not getting angry, Annis continued, "I didn't expect House Stark to have such powerful techniques. Your family's heritage is indeed impressive."

What Annis didn't know was that Leah had been trying to unlock the secrets of the pendant ever since she learned about its origins from her mother. But despite her efforts, she had made little progress.

If Leah hadn't been forced into a life-or-death situation, she wouldn't have unlocked the full potential of the pendant. Even Harry didn't know about Snow Condenses.

Today, the pendant had only revealed itself in a moment of crisis, activating to protect its master.

Even now, Leah had only managed to grasp the basics of the spear techniques, unable to wield its full power.

After a long silence, Annis, seeing Leah still refusing to speak, sighed. "Leah, you shouldn't be too upset. You're one of the academy's finest students, and I'm proud of you. I know about your brother's situation, and this fight won't solve anything. I've already sent word to your father, and the academy is organizing a rescue team. Until we see the body, no one can say for certain that he's dead."

Leah understood. With the headmaster intervening, it was impossible for anyone to die today. Yet, there was some truth in Annis's words. She couldn't afford to give up. She had to find Ryan, no matter what — alive or dead, she had to see him herself.

Looking at Alan and the others, pale and trembling, she said with cold resolve, "Consider yourselves lucky today. If anything happens to Ryan, I swear you will all pay for it."
