The Mysterious Figure 1

This time, Yarr dared not speak up. The fear he felt from Leah's strength was undeniable. Now, ensuring Alan's survival was enough for him; the rest would depend on how the two families handled the situation. The future was no longer within his control.

As Leah released her grip, Snow Condenses gradually faded, turning into tiny silver specks that disappeared into the air. Her once white hair returned to its original color, turning back to a deep shade of blue. However, the strain had taken a toll on her, and her face appeared somewhat pale.

Annis sighed, clearly impressed by the depth of House Stark's heritage. She knew that if Leah continued to press the issue, it would become troublesome for her.

With Harry's arrival, the search and rescue efforts began in earnest. Leah insisted on accompanying them, and Harry reluctantly agreed. Things were moving forward, each family handling their own responsibilities.

Meanwhile, Ryan, after being thrown off the cliff, finally snapped out of his daze. Clutching the pendant tightly with one hand, he desperately tried to find something to grab onto with the other. The cliff wall was unnervingly smooth, but his instincts to survive pushed him to leave no chance unused. His hand was cut and bruised by the jagged stone as he bled from the numerous scrapes.

Just as hope seemed to fade, Ryan's hand brushed against something embedded in the cliffside, something solid and sturdy enough for him to grasp. Without a second thought, he grabbed onto the object, clutching it desperately.

In an instant, his descent stopped. Ryan felt a wave of relief wash over him, and he prepared to look up and see what he had caught onto. But before he could, the object trembled in his hand, emitting a strange "humming" sound. Before Ryan could react, he was quickly pulled downward once again.

It felt like the halt lasted only a moment before the pull intensified. Desperate, Ryan tried to let go and grab something else, but the object was stuck to his hand, as if glued there, and he continued to plummet.

Just before reaching the bottom of the cliff, a powerful force yanked him again, and then everything went dark.

Meanwhile, Harry and his team were taking a detour to the bottom of the cliff, unaware that Ryan lay unconscious at its base.

Ryan, still gripping the pendant with one hand, was also holding a knife in the other. During his fall, the knife had scraped across the cliff with little resistance, leaving a deep gash in the stone. The cliff wall felt as soft as tofu beneath the blade.

The knife had a slight curve to it, its surface dark green with an eerie glow, giving it an almost mystical appearance. Upon closer inspection, intricate plant totems were engraved along its surface, each one vibrant and life-like.

Suddenly, the eerie glow of the knife intensified, and a delicate figure emerged from it. The woman wore a gown as white as snow, with long, flowing black hair cascading down her back. Her eyebrows were delicately arched, and her sharp, dark eyes seemed to see right through everything. She was breathtakingly beautiful, exuding an aura that made her seem distant and unreachable.

She stood beside Ryan, her eyes narrowing slightly as she gazed down at him. A faint green light flickered in her eyes when she noticed the pendant in Ryan's hand. "Hmm..." she murmured, "Interesting. It looks like I was unnecessary. Even without my help, you might not die. But..."

As she thought, her brow furrowed, and she suddenly looked up into the distance. After a moment, she withdrew her gaze and smiled faintly. "How troublesome."

Turning to another direction, she waved her sleeve, and a wild deer appeared out of nowhere.

If anyone had been nearby, witnessing this display of summoning, they would have been terrified. However, the woman paid it no mind, murmuring softly, "Little thing, come here and help me out, just need your life for a moment."

As she spoke, she raised her hand, and the sound of bones cracking echoed from the deer. It collapsed to the ground, dead.

With a casual flick of her wrist, Ryan's unconscious body was moved onto the dead deer. She nodded in satisfaction before looking around to ensure no one was watching. Then, she vanished, taking both the knife and the pendant in Ryan's hand with her.

Not long after, Harry and his team arrived at the bottom of the cliff, searching for Ryan, but it was Leah who spotted him first.

"Look! Ryan is over there!" Leah cried out.

The others followed the direction of her pointing, and before they could react, Leah was already rushing toward Ryan.

She knelt beside him, her eyes filled with relief as she saw that Ryan was breathing evenly. It seemed he was merely unconscious. Overcome with emotion, Leah burst into tears of joy.

When she noticed the pendant still in Ryan's hand, she quickly took it from him and placed it around his neck, covering it with his clothes. At this point, the mysterious pendant was the biggest secret between the two siblings, and it was better to keep such a treasure hidden from others.

The group, led by Annis and Harry, marveled at Ryan's luck. They couldn't help but mutter in disbelief.

"This kid's luck is incredible! To fall and land on a dead deer... and he's unharmed!"

They were all astonished by Ryan's miraculous survival, but none of them noticed the deep gash in the cliff wall, which seemed like nothing unusual.

Annis, though, breathed a quiet sigh of relief. While she couldn't fully believe what had just happened, this was the outcome she had hoped for. Still, her intuition told her that Ryan wasn't an ordinary boy. Everything seemed to revolve around him. Even though everything had happened because of him, he was unscathed. Leah's terrifying strength combined with this boy, who appeared to be nothing more than a "waste," made her wonder just how many secrets House Stark was hiding.
