Silver Moon sensed Ryan's intentions and once again transmitted a message to him. "Are you planning to confront Harry and ask for answers? If that's the case, I suggest you don't go."
Ryan paused and asked, "Why?"
Silver Moon responded with a smile, "You can go ahead and ask, but if they want to tell you, why would they make up a story about your illness to deceive you? And how can you be sure that what they tell you is the truth?"
Ryan was taken aback. "What? They lied about my illness too? But then why did I have no elemental perception?"
"Don't ask me," Silver Moon replied. "I can't explore the secret within your pendant either. But if one day you gain the ability to investigate the mysterious space in it, I believe you'll find the answer."
Ryan thought for a moment. "You're right! A person who secretly uses schemes against me—can I really trust what they say?"
Since meeting Silver Moon, her judgments had always been accurate. If she said this, it seemed he would have to rely on himself to find the truth.
He asked, "How can I unlock the secret of the pendant?"
Silver Moon smiled mischievously. "If you stay in Sweet Spring Town, you'll never find the answer. Staying here has no meaning anymore. This place was always just your starting point. Your true battlefield lies somewhere else."
"But... where should I go?" Ryan asked, feeling lost.
"Where you go doesn't matter," Silver Moon replied. "What matters is leaving here. Growth means stepping out of your comfort zone and adapting to new environments. Everyone grows through experience, and the more you experience, the faster you grow."
Ryan saw the truth in her words. Sweet Spring Town no longer held any appeal. With his vengeance taken, he had lost the motivation to keep moving forward. Perhaps that's why he had also lost his initial passion for training.
As for his origins, he trusted that with Silver Moon's guidance, the truth would eventually come out. Over time, he had come to understand her. Whenever he was lost, she always showed him the way. She had never harmed him.
Ryan realized Silver Moon was urging him to leave and pursue a different path, so he looked at the pendant on his chest, clenched his teeth, and said, "Alright, I'll go. Since you've all kept secrets from me, I'll find the answers on my own. The only person who won't deceive me in this world is myself."
Seeing that Ryan had made up his mind, Silver Moon was satisfied.
Back at the House Stark compound, Ryan didn't look for anyone but quietly retreated to his room.
Half a month passed in the blink of an eye. During this time, aside from going out with Leah to retrieve some materials, Ryan locked himself in his room, focusing on intense training.
While experimenting with how to manipulate the water element, Silver Moon suddenly transmitted a message. "Kid, it's done."
With that, Silver Moon appeared from Ryan's pendant and tossed an object toward him. Ryan caught it and examined it closely. It was a silver ring, its surface smooth and metallic. At the top of the ring, there was a blue crystal-like gem, making it look like something a woman might wear. Aside from that, it didn't seem to have any special features.
Ryan looked at Silver Moon and asked, "Sister, after all those materials, you made this?"
Silver Moon frowned. "Don't bring it back if you're just going to complain. Stop talking and just take it."
Ryan chuckled and tightly gripped the ring. "Well, I couldn't let you work for nothing. By the way, what's this ring supposed to do?"
Silver Moon smiled mischievously. "Want to know?"
Ryan eagerly nodded. "Yes, of course."
Silver Moon pointed at the ring in his hand and said, "Then drop a drop of blood on it, and you'll find out."
Ryan swallowed nervously. "Drop... drop blood?"
By now, Ryan knew that if something required blood to bond with, it was no ordinary item. He hadn't expected Silver Moon to create something so powerful in just five days. Truly, anything Silver Moon made was of the highest quality!
Looking at the ring in his hand, Ryan felt a surge of curiosity but managed to control his emotions and desires.
Seeing his lack of response, Silver Moon pressed further. "Are you sure you want to give such a good thing to someone who has no blood ties to you?"
Ryan paused, thinking for a moment, then replied firmly, "No matter what, she'll always be my sister. For all these years, she has cared for me. This ring is the only thing I can do for her. So, I don't need you to convince me otherwise."
Silver Moon saw that Ryan was resolute and said nothing more. With a flash, she disappeared.
After Silver Moon left, Ryan once again gripped the ring tightly and gazed into the distance, murmuring to himself, "Is it time to go?"
A long while later, he exhaled deeply, his eyes now filled with determination and acceptance.
Though he didn't know what the future held for him, he was prepared. No matter what, he would find out who he truly was.
