My Wild Beast
Nova scrambled backwards, panting hard, her short locks clinging to her damp forehead as she watched this predator stalk towards her. The vibrant and lively forest hushed, almost holding its breath to watch the scene unfold. Great, she had an audience for what would surely be a gruesome death.

A spine-chilling growl snapped her gaze back up to meet his golden-red eyes, fiery, and intense, glaring at Nova as he slammed his hands either side of her head. Pieces of bark crumbled down from the impact.
"I told you not to run..." He threatened, his eyes piercing hers, his voice more guttural than she'd heard from any male. His eyes clenched shut as his body trembled. "My instinct is to always stalk, always chase... until I get what I want.."
Their faces were inches apart. She could feel his hot breath fanning her face. The forest was humid and hot, and his body was so close to hers that it was almost unbearable. The gruff voice, those words and the intensity of those eyes that reminded her of sunsets caused goosebumps to flourish across her arms.
"What do you want?" Nova swallowed, not recognising her voice. She was so out of her depth. His chest rumbled, and more bark crumbled down from behind her head.
"You..."
Her breath hitched.
"To. Do. As. You're. Told."

Paradise was what Nova Winslow was promised when her boyfriend whisked her away to Isla De Tayun, the perfect getaway for their busy lives. It was untouched, pristine, a hidden gem.
But it had remained that way for a reason. The island doesn’t want visitors. And neither do the natives.

Alone, stranded, and with little survival skills, Nova has only a wet phone with no signal, a pair of heels, and an irrational fear of bats—which are everywhere. She is out of her depth when she falls into a mystical world of beasts.
Hunted by tribesmen, stalked by beasts that shouldn't exist, and hearing animals speak, she has no choice but to trust the wild beast the forest itself fears—Yoa, a wanted man. Together, they flee the tribes pursuing them all while battling her growing attraction to Yoa.
Can she survive the wild and make it back to her civilised life? Or will she lose herself to the untamed world—and to the man who belongs to it?

Author Kelly has done it again with another magnificent novel that is completely unique (not just for me) and a one-of-a-kind delight for us. 💓 Writing Quality: There are no exposition dumps in the author's stories; they are always flawlessly designed and smoothly written, effortlessly engaging to capture your interest as you read through each chapter. Story Development: So far, our leads' dynamics are eventually progressing, and there is much more to look forward to as they connect with the various supporting characters they will encounter in this universe, in addition to those they have already encountered. Particularly with our FL, she is the primary catalyst for the story's subsequent events. Character Design: You will undoubtedly be drawn in and captivated by the primary characters' ongoing depictions. You'll also get to know the other characters, who are very different from one another but thrive symbiotically in this universe. World Background: Our main characters and the other characters all have their own territories in the world in which the story is set. Visualising such amazing and stunning pictures and descriptive portrayals will give you the impression that you are watching a blockbuster film. Update Stability: Our dear author already has a stable update schedule, so we're already good in this aspect. Ever since I have read the author's work HUNTED, from there and then, I definitely became her constant fan and she became one of my most favourite authors here in WN. All her other works were instantly added in my library, that I hope to finish reading them one by one. Cheeky as always. WELCOME TO MY WILD BEAST! There will be a lot of adventure, maybe a few jump scares, a few mythological creatures and steamy and tender moments between our leads. Nova is a complete modern day woman, used to her luxuries and is thrown into this beast world on Isla De Tayun. It has been a fun one to write so I hope you enjoy it as much as I have done writing it! There’s alot happening in this story, it’s packed with, intrig, mystery, heart stopping can’t stop reading moments. The FL Nova is a beautiful caring soul that wins you over from the start. After discovering a side of her fiancé that leaves her questioning her future with him, it only gets worse. She finds herself in an unimaginable nightmare of a world fighting for her life praying she’ll wake up soon. Enter the ML Yoa, she actually rescues him first. A very wise decision on her part because he ends up being her life line to continue in a world she won’t survive alone. Oh and they also discover a little thing about each other, which is an undeniable chemistry 🥰
So loving this new adventure and interesting world. It has been wctioned packed from the beginning. Plenty of imagery too. Can’t wait to read more about Nova and Yoa.

Kelly knows how to hook a reader right from the start. Each chapter is a treat! The storyline is so different and captivating. A compelling adventure that I hope to see more of.
I’m rarely on WN anymore and only here as to read what Kelly had written here. I found this author on MFR & so thankful I did! This particular story has me checking in frequently for new updates, tho I’m fully aware of the posting schedule 😅 It’s intense yet softness surfaces frequently. It’s primal while 2 who are exotic to the other, seemingly complete opposite cling to the other and decide to figure it out as they go. There’s no forcing, there’s curiosity, there’s understanding while unsure where the understanding has come from — it’s smooth. Chase, safety, hideouts, Gods, Ancients, shapeshifting, tribes, magic, & many unknowns with a certain modern woman — what all will be revealed?
Kelly! this book has me hooked, im loving the plot, cant wait for the map drop!
