The battlefield was a chaotic symphony of clashing weapons, blazing magic, and deafening roars. Rimuru stood on a hill overlooking the carnage, his cold gaze locked onto the largest cluster of Orcs in the distance.
Behind him, the Tempest army awaited orders. The ground beneath them trembled under the sheer weight of the Orc horde, their guttural growls echoing across the land.
Rimuru turned to his generals, his tone calm but commanding. "Listen carefully. We're not here to annihilate them completely. Knock out as many as you can. After this battle, the Orcs could prove useful for labor."
Benimaru smirked, his crimson eyes glowing with anticipation. "Understood, Rimuru-sama. Let's see how these Orcs fare against the Kijin."
Shion, gripping her massive sword. "I'll make sure they remember this day... if they're still conscious after I'm done with them."
Madox adjusted the gauntlets on his hands, his presence exuding authority as he commanded the Kobolds. "We'll strike swiftly and decisively. They won't even know what hit them."
With a nod from Rimuru, the generals rallied their troops and charged into battle. Rimuru, however, turned his attention to the largest concentration of Orcs. He whispered to Great Sage in his mind.
"Keep a count of how many Orcs I take down. Let me know when I've reached 99,995 kills."
"Acknowledged, Master."
"Time to try some new attacks."
As the Tempest army surged forward, Rimuru leapt high into the air, surveying the battlefield. He raised his hand, activating a newly developed spell.
"Tempest Burst!"
A massive vortex of wind and lightning tore through the Orc ranks, scattering dozens like leaves in a storm. The sky above crackled as streaks of lightning rained down, each bolt precise and devastating.
Rimuru landed in the middle of the disoriented Orcs, his black sword gleaming ominously. The blade, infused with his own magicules, hummed with power.
"Let's see what you can do," Rimuru muttered to the sword, gripping it tightly.
With a single swing, an arc of dark energy sliced through a line of Orcs, knocking them unconscious. The sheer force of the attack sent shockwaves rippling through the ground.
As more Orcs surrounded him, Rimuru activated another spell.
"Frozen Abyss!"
An icy mist spread rapidly from his feet, freezing the Orcs in their tracks. Crystals of frost crawled up their bodies, immobilizing them without killing. Rimuru grinned.
"How's the count, Great Sage?"
"Current tally: 678 souls collected."
Rimuru chuckled. "Plenty more to go."
Benimaru led the Elves and Lycanthropes against the northern flank. His aura flared as he unleashed his fiery skill, Crimson Lotus Strike, sending fiery shockwaves across the battlefield. Entire clusters of Orcs were engulfed in flames, their weapons melting under the heat.
"Don't let them regroup!" Benimaru shouted, his commanding voice carrying over the battlefield. The Lycanthropes howled in unison, tearing through the Orcs with their enhanced strength and speed, while the Elves rained down arrows imbued with magic.
One of the Lycanthropes, a towering beast with silver fur, called out to Benimaru. "These Orcs are strong, but they're nothing compared to us!"
Benimaru smirked. "Don't get cocky. Focus on the fight."
Shion, on the southern front, wielded her big sword with unmatched ferocity. Every swing created craters in the ground, sending shockwaves that knocked out groups of Orcs at a time.
"Come at me, you pigs!" Shion roared, laughter in her voice as she charged headfirst into the fray. The Hobgoblins followed closely, using their improved weapons and coordination to hold the line.
One Orc, larger than the others, tried to challenge Shion directly. She grinned and twirled her sword. "Big mistake."
With a single blow, she sent the Orc flying across the battlefield, crashing into its comrades like a cannonball.
Madox and the Kobolds struck from the shadows, their agility and precision overwhelming the Orcs. Using a coordinated ambush, they targeted the Orcs' legs, disabling them swiftly and efficiently.
"Stick to the plan!" Madox barked, his voice sharp and authoritative. "Cut off their mobility, and they're as good as defeated."
One of the Kobold captains nodded, his claws gleaming. "Understood, Commander!"
Madox himself fought with incredible precision, his gauntlets glowing with magical energy as he unleashed concussive blasts that sent Orcs sprawling.
Despite their numbers and the effect of the Starved skill driving them forward, the Orcs began to falter. Fear rippled through their ranks as they witnessed the overwhelming power of the army.
Even under the influence of the Orc Lord's unique skill, the sight of Rimuru tearing through their forces like a storm, Shion's devastating blows, Benimaru's infernal flames, and the surgical precision of Madox and Souei's forces began to take its toll.
Meanwhile, Ranga and his pack had reached the marshlands, where the Lizardmen were desperately trying to hold their ground. The Orcs were relentless, but the arrival of the black-furred wolves turned the tide.
Ranga howled, his voice echoing across the battlefield. "Fight with honor, Lizardmen! Victory is within reach!"
The Lizardmen leader (Gabiruuu) so cool, impressed by the wolves' strength, rallied his forces. "Hold the line! With the wolves on our side, we cannot lose!"
As the battle raged on, Rimuru continued cutting through the Orc horde with unmatched efficiency. The voice of Great Sage rang in his mind.
"Master, you have reached 99,995 incapacitated Orcs."
The battlefield had already descended into chaos, with Rimuru's army pushing back the Orcs and the Lizardmen regaining their footing alongside Ranga's wolves. The tide was firmly in Tempest's favor when a deafening crash drew everyone's attention.
A bizarre figure landed amidst the fighting, screaming at the top of his lungs. His frail, humanoid form looked completely out of place, yet his aura was undeniably sinister. His shrill voice cut through the sounds of battle.
"What are you fools doing?! This is NOT how things are supposed to go! Why are you all messing up my perfect plans?"
Rimuru narrowed his eyes, his gaze locked onto the figure. "And who exactly is this guy supposed to be?"
Before Benimaru could answer, another voice cut in. Gabiru, the overly enthusiastic Lizardman warrior, came running over, his eyes wide with excitement. "Oh! Lord Gelmud! You've come to assist us in this great battle!"
The strange figure—Gelmud—snapped his head toward Gabiru, his expression a mix of fury and disbelief. "Assist you? ASSIST YOU?!" Gelmud's voice rose hysterically. "You're a complete idiot! Your only purpose is to be eaten by the Orc Lord so he can evolve! Why haven't you done that yet?!"
Gabiru froze in confusion, his eyes wide. "What... what do you mean, eaten? But you named me... you said I was special!"
Rimuru's eyes sharpened as the pieces started falling into place. "So this is the Majin responsible for all this," he muttered, his voice laced with contempt.
"Well, that settles it. Time to take out the trash."
Before Gelmud could process what was happening, Rimuru vanished from sight. He reappeared in front of the screeching Majin, his fist already swinging.
"Wha—?!" Gelmud barely got a word out before Rimuru's punch connected with his chest, sending him hurtling through the air. Blood sprayed as the impact shattered his ribs and ruptured his organs.
Rimuru didn't stop there. In the blink of an eye, he leaped after Gelmud, drawing his sword. With a single, precise slash, he cleaved Gelmud in half mid-air.
The Majin's two halves hit the ground with a sickening thud, his lifeless eyes staring up at the sky. Silence fell over the battlefield for a brief moment.
But then, a low growl filled the air. All eyes turned toward the Orc Lord, who had been watching the exchange with growing hunger.
"I'm... starving..." the Orc Lord muttered, his massive form shuddering. His gaze locked onto Gelmud's corpse. Without hesitation, he lunged forward and devoured the remains in a frenzy of snapping jaws and tearing flesh.
Suddenly, the atmosphere shifted. A booming, disembodied voice echoed across the battlefield, stopping everyone in their tracks.
"HARVEST FESTIVAL FOR THE ORC LORD IS ABOUT TO BEGIN."
"EVOLUTION FROM ORC LORD TO ORC DISASTER IN PROCESS."
"EVOLUTION COMPLETE."
The Orc Lord's body began to change, grotesque and powerful. His muscles expanded, his skin hardened like armor, and his eyes burned with a terrifying glow. The surge of power radiating from him was overwhelming, forcing many to their knees.
When the transformation was complete, the Orc Lord stood tall and proud, exuding an aura of menace that suffocated the battlefield. He laughed, a deep, guttural sound that sent shivers down everyone's spine.
"I am Geld," he proclaimed, his voice booming. "The one who devours all. With this power, no one can stand against me!"
Rimuru immediately barked orders to his generals. "Benimaru, Shion, Madox, Ranga—move out! Take him down!"
Benimaru charged in first, his katana blazing with crimson flames. "Crimson Lotus Strike!" he roared, unleashing a torrent of fiery slashes. The flames engulfed Geld, but the Orc Disaster emerged unharmed, his wounds regenerating instantly.
"Is that all?" Geld sneered, his voice dripping with disdain.
Shion followed up with a devastating swing of her sword, the impact creating a shockwave that leveled the ground beneath them. "Take this!" she shouted. But Geld merely laughed as the attack landed, his body regenerating before her eyes.
Madox and Ranga joined the fray, coordinating their attacks. Madox unleashed a series of concussive blasts from his gauntlets, aiming to knock Geld off balance, while Ranga summoned a barrage of Black Lightning, the bolts striking with pinpoint accuracy.
But Geld's regeneration was relentless, and he retaliated with a powerful swing of his massive arm, coated in a dark aura. "Gourmet: Rot!" he roared, the attack grazing Shion and causing her arm to wither slightly from the decay effect.
"Shion, fall back!" Rimuru shouted, his eyes narrowing as he analyzed Geld's abilities.
Geld summoned several Chaos Eaters, grotesque monsters born from his unique skill. They swarmed toward Shion, their mouths dripping with corrosive saliva. She barely managed to fend them off, her strength waning.
"Damn it!" Benimaru growled. "At this rate, we'll never bring him down!"
Seeing his generals struggle, Rimuru stepped forward, his voice calm but resolute. "Enough. Pull back, all of you."
"But Rimuru-sama—" Benimaru started, but Rimuru cut him off.
"I said pull back. This one's mine."
The generals reluctantly obeyed, retreating to regroup with the rest of the army. Rimuru stood alone before Geld, his aura intensifying.
"Geld," Rimuru said, his voice cold. "You've had your fun, but it ends here. Let's see how well you regenerate after I'm done with you."
Geld laughed, his massive frame looming over Rimuru. "You think you can defeat me? I am invincible! I am the Orc Disaster!"
Rimuru smirked, his body emanating a radiant blue light. "We'll see about that."
As the battle between Rimuru and the Orc Disaster began, the battlefield watched in awe, knowing that the outcome of this fight would determine the fate of them all.completely.
Rimuru faced off against Geld, his expression calm but focused. The Orc Disaster stood tall, exuding an overwhelming aura of power. His grotesque body radiated strength, and the regenerating wounds only made him seem invincible.
"You think you can stop me?" Geld sneered, his voice guttural and deep. "I'll devour you like I devoured everyone else. My hunger is eternal!"
Rimuru didn't respond immediately. Instead, he sized up the Orc Disaster, observing every movement, every shift in energy. Great Sage's voice echoed in his mind.
"Analysis complete. Geld's unique skill, Gourmet, grants powerful regeneration and the ability to create Chaos Eaters. Recommended action: exploit his overconfidence and aim to disable his regeneration."
Rimuru nodded mentally. Got it, Sage. Let's end this quickly.
Geld charged at Rimuru, his massive frame barreling forward like a freight train. His fist, cloaked in dark energy, came crashing down. "Rotting Smash!" he roared, the ground beneath his blow crumbling into dust.
Rimuru dodged effortlessly, his slimy body shifting with fluid precision. "Is that all you've got?" Rimuru taunted, his voice light yet dripping with confidence.
In retaliation, Rimuru unleashed Black Flame, conjuring a torrent of dark fire that engulfed Geld's body. The flames scorched his flesh, but in seconds, the damage was undone as his regeneration kicked in.
"Futile!" Geld bellowed, laughing as he summoned dozens of Chaos Eaters, grotesque monsters with gaping maws and decayed flesh. "Devour him!"
The Chaos Eaters lunged toward Rimuru, their movements erratic yet deadly. Rimuru countered with Flare Circle, summoning a ring of flames that incinerated the creatures in an instant. He then dashed toward Geld, closing the distance.
Rimuru began probing Geld's defenses, testing his strength and regeneration. He unleashed a barrage of spells: Water Blade, slicing through Geld's limbs, and Icicle Lance, piercing his torso. Yet every wound Rimuru inflicted regenerated within seconds, the Orc Disaster laughing maniacally.
"You can't win!" Geld roared, swinging his arm in a wide arc. Rimuru dodged again, but the ground erupted beneath him as Geld's Rotting Smash caused the earth to decay.
"Let's see how much you can really handle," Rimuru muttered. He conjured a massive Black Lightning strike, the dark energy crackling as it descended onto Geld. The impact was deafening, creating a shockwave that rippled across the battlefield.
When the dust settled, Geld stood, charred but alive. His flesh rapidly regenerated, his grin as wide as ever. "You're strong, but it's useless! I'll just keep coming back!"
Rimuru smirked. "You're right. That regeneration of yours is pretty impressive. But I've got something you won't recover from."
As Geld lunged at him again, Rimuru activated Predator. A black aura enveloped Rimuru's body, swirling like a vortex. "Let's see how well you regenerate once I consume everything you are!"
Geld's eyes widened as the dark vortex pulled him in. "What... what is this?!" he roared, struggling against the pull. His massive arms clawed at the ground, but the force of Predator was unstoppable.
"Your power, your skills, your very existence... it all belongs to me now," Rimuru said, his voice cold and resolute.
Geld fought back with everything he had, summoning Chaos Eaters and swinging wildly at the vortex. But it was futile. Rimuru dodged effortlessly, his body moving like water.
Finally, Rimuru closed the distance, placing his hand on Geld's chest. "This is the end."
With a final surge, Rimuru's Predator skill activated in full force, engulfing Geld completely. The Orc Disaster screamed in rage and fear as his body was consumed, his massive frame disintegrating into particles of energy that were absorbed by Rimuru.
Rimuru stood in the center of the battlefield, his aura radiating power. The Chaos Eaters dissolved into nothingness, their creator no longer alive to sustain them. The remaining Orcs dropped to their knees, their wills broken.
The generals and soldiers of Tempest gathered around Rimuru, their expressions a mix of awe and relief.
"Rimuru-sama," Benimaru said, stepping forward. "You defeated him... you really are incredible."
Rimuru smiled, his usual lightheartedness returning. "It wasn't so hard. I just had to figure out the right angle."
Shion huffed, still holding her war club. "Next time, let me finish the big bad guy! I was just getting warmed up!"
Rimuru chuckled. "You'll get your chance, Shion. Don't worry."
After the intense battle, a meeting was called in Rimuru's temporary war tent near the battlefield. Sitting around the table were Rimuru, Treyni the Dryad, the Lizardmen Chieftain, Rimuru's generals—Benimaru, Shion, Souei, Madox, and Rigurd—and the Orc General, Geld's son, who had surrendered on behalf of the remaining Orcs.
The atmosphere in the tent was heavy, the tension palpable. The fate of the surviving 100,000 Orcs hung in the balance, and everyone present waited for Rimuru to speak.
Rimuru glanced around the table, his face calm but resolute. "The Orc Lord, or rather the Orc Disaster, is gone. The main threat has been neutralized. However, the devastation caused by the Orc army cannot be ignored."
He turned his attention to Geld's son, who knelt on the ground, his head bowed in shame. "You and your people caused countless deaths and destruction. Even though you were being controlled, you still bear some responsibility for your actions."
Geld's son flinched, his voice trembling as he spoke. "We accept any punishment you deem fit. If it means atoning for our sins, we will accept death."
The room fell silent at his declaration. The other leaders exchanged glances, unsure of how Rimuru would respond.
Rimuru crossed his arms and leaned back slightly. "Death, huh? That's one way to atone, but it's also a waste."
Everyone in the room looked at Rimuru, confused.
"I won't punish the Orcs by killing them," Rimuru declared, his voice firm. "Instead, I'll take them under my protection. From now on, the Orcs will serve as laborers to rebuild everything they destroyed. They'll work for the people they wronged, and in doing so, they'll earn their redemption."
Gasps of shock echoed around the room.
The Lizardmen Chieftain slammed his hand on the table, his voice filled with disbelief. "You would let them live? After everything they've done? How can you be so merciful?"
Treyni, who had been observing quietly, spoke up. "It's not mercy—it's wisdom. Lord Rimuru sees the bigger picture. If the Orcs are given a chance to make amends, they can become a valuable part of the Jura Forest's future."
Benimaru nodded, his fiery eyes glinting with approval. "Rimuru-sama's decision might seem unconventional, but it's fair. Killing them would only continue the cycle of hatred. This way, they can repay their debt."
Shion pounded her fist into her palm. "If Rimuru-sama says it, then that's final! Besides, if any of them step out of line, I'll personally knock some sense into them!"
Geld's son lifted his head, his eyes wide with disbelief. "You... you're sparing us? Even after all the terrible things we've done?"
Rimuru met his gaze, his expression softening slightly. "I'm giving you a chance, not just for your people, but for everyone in the forest. If you betray my trust, there won't be a second chance. Do you understand?"
Geld's son bowed deeply, tears streaming down his face. "We pledge our loyalty to you, Lord Rimuru. We will do whatever it takes to repay this kindness."
With the Orcs' fate decided, Treyni stood, her serene presence commanding attention. "This battle has shown us that unity is necessary for survival. The monsters of the Jura Forest need to come together under a single banner to prevent future conflicts like this."
She turned to Rimuru and smiled. "I propose an official alliance between the monsters of the forest, with Lord Rimuru as our leader."
The room erupted in murmurs of agreement. The Lizardmen Chieftain, though initially hesitant, nodded after a moment. "If it means protecting my people and preventing another disaster like this, I'll agree to the alliance."
Benimaru smirked. "With Rimuru-sama leading us, we'll be unstoppable."
Rigurd, ever the loyal follower, thumped his chest proudly. "Our village is already proof of Rimuru-sama's leadership. I wholeheartedly support this alliance!"
Treyni extended her hand toward Rimuru. "Then it's settled. From this day forward, the Jura Forest Alliance is born, with Lord Rimuru as its ruler."
Rimuru shook her hand, a smile playing on his lips. "I'll do my best to live up to everyone's expectations. Let's build a forest where everyone can live in peace."
With the meeting concluded, Rimuru addressed the Orcs and formally welcomed them into his growing nation. He instructed Rigurd to organize labor teams and work on rebuilding the areas devastated by the Orc army.
As the Orcs began their new lives under Rimuru's leadership, the first steps toward a unified Jura Forest were taken.
Inwardly, Rimuru couldn't help but think, This is just the beginning. If I'm going to be the leader of this alliance, I'll need to keep growing stronger. There's still a long road ahead.
And so, with new allies and a newfound sense of purpose, the Jura Forest Alliance took its first step toward unity and prosperity under Rimuru's banner.
