The grand hall of Zeno's palace remained deathly silent.
The truth had settled into the minds of every divine being present.
There was no more doubt.
There was no more resistance.
Everything they had believed, everything they had built their existence upon, had been shattered in an instant.
Beerus was the Supreme One.
There was no one above him.
No one before him.
And there would be no one after him.
Zeno was nothing but a placeholder.
The Grand Priest, merely a servant.
The Gods of Destruction, nothing more than blind children given toys to play with.
And now, they were faced with a choice.
"What Will You Do?"
Beerus leaned forward on his throne, resting his chin on his hand, his golden eyes surveying the stunned deities before him.
His voice was calm, yet it demanded an answer.
"Now that you know the truth...
...what will you do?"
His words carried the weight of inevitability.
There was no escape.
There was nowhere to run.
Now that they had seen the truth, there was no going back.
Every fiber of their being trembled before him.
Zeno, the once-childlike ruler, had already accepted his fate.
He remained kneeling, his head bowed, his small form frozen in reverence.
The Grand Priest clenched his fists, struggling to maintain his composure.
The Supreme Kais exchanged glances, their minds overwhelmed by the enormity of what they had learned.
The Angels remained still, their usual neutrality shattered by the undeniable force of reality.
And the Gods of Destruction...
Beings who once took pride in their strength, their authority, their control over life and death...
Now stood powerless.
Useless.
Completely insignificant before the Supreme One.
The silence stretched, suffocating and heavy.
Then, one by one—
They lowered themselves.
Kneeling.
Heads bowed.
Complete submission.
"We Will Serve."
The first to break the silence was Zeno himself.
"There is no other path," he whispered, his childlike voice lacking any of its former playfulness.
"I exist because you allow it. I rule because you permitted it. Everything I have done, everything I have been... was only possible because you willed it."
He clenched his tiny fists.
"If I am to exist, then I will serve. That is my only purpose now."
The Grand Priest, usually unreadable, finally spoke.
"I have guided existence in accordance with the principles I believed to be absolute. But those principles were nothing more than shadows cast by your presence, hidden from my sight."
He lowered his head further.
"There is no greater honor than to serve the Supreme One."
One by one, the Supreme Kais, the Angels, and the Gods of Destruction followed.
"We will serve."
"There is no other path."
"You are the Supreme One. We exist only by your will."
Each of them spoke.
Not out of fear.
Not out of obligation.
But because it was the truth.
They had no choice but to acknowledge it.
Because to deny it would mean denying reality itself.
And Beerus had already shown them—he could erase that reality with a mere thought.
Beerus sat upon the throne, watching them bow before him.
His golden eyes were unreadable.
His wives stood at his side, each one of them radiating unfathomable power, their presence reinforcing his absolute rule.
For the first time in history, the divine hierarchy had changed.
There was no longer a ruler of all.
There was only one.
The Supreme One.
And all of existence now recognized this truth.
Beerus did not smile.
He did not celebrate.
Because this was how it was always meant to be.
The universe had simply been corrected.
He exhaled softly.
"Good."
The single word sent a ripple through the room.
It was not praise.
It was not acceptance.
It was acknowledgment.
They had done the only logical thing.
To submit.
To obey.
And now...
they would serve.
....
The grand hall remained silent, the weight of Beerus' presence still crushing down upon all divine beings present.
Zeno and the Grand Priest knelt at the foot of the throne.
The Supreme Kais, the Gods of Destruction, and the Angels stood before Beerus, their expressions unreadable.
They had all submitted.
They had all acknowledged the truth—
Beerus was the Supreme One.
Now, there was only one question left.
Beerus finally spoke, his voice smooth yet heavy with authority.
"Each of you," he said, his golden gaze sweeping across the room, "is responsible for watching over your respective universes. —What is the status of the worlds under your care?"
A quiet shudder passed through the Gods of Destruction and the Supreme Kais.
They had never been questioned like this before.
Not by Zeno.
Not even by the Grand Priest.
They had always operated under the assumption that their rule was the highest authority.
But now…
They were nothing but servants before the true master.
Universe 1 – Supreme Kai Anato & God of Destruction Iwne
Anato, the Supreme Kai of Universe 1, was the first to speak. He took a step forward, his hands clasped respectfully.
"Great One," he began, choosing his words carefully, "Universe 1 has remained peaceful under our guidance. Civilizations flourish, and the balance between mortals and deities remains stable."
Iwne, the God of Destruction, nodded. "Our universe has always been among the strongest, but now, with your truth revealed to us, we seek only to uphold your will. If there is anything you wish of us, it shall be done."
Beerus gave a slow nod. "Maintain order. Should chaos arise, eliminate it immediately."
"Yes, Supreme One."
Universe 2 – Supreme Kai Pell & God of Destruction Heles
Pell hesitated before speaking.
"Our universe values beauty and harmony," he said carefully, "but there have been disturbances… some mortals seeking power beyond their station. We have handled them so far, but if you wish for further action—"
Heles, the goddess of destruction, bowed deeply. "If you so desire, I shall eradicate all who defy your natural order."
Beerus smirked slightly. "I will allow you to do as you see fit… but should you fail, I will not tolerate incompetence."
Both deities lowered their heads. "Understood, Supreme One."
Universe 3 – Supreme Kai Ea & God of Destruction Mosco
Ea adjusted his glasses, his expression calm but his hands trembling slightly.
"Universe 3 remains… efficient."
Beerus narrowed his eyes. "Expand."
Ea swallowed hard. "We have prioritized technological advancement over spiritual growth. Our civilizations flourish in artificial intelligence and mechanized evolution, but… many mortals lack understanding of divine existence."
Mosco beeped in agreement, his attendant translating, "Destruction is minimal. Machines follow logic, but they do not revere the gods."
Beerus leaned back on his throne. "A balance must be maintained. If mortals forget their place, remind them. You know what to do."
Ea lowered his head. "Yes, Supreme One."
Universe 4 – Supreme Kai Kuru & God of Destruction Quitela
Quitela, usually arrogant, now stood with a rare look of unease.
"Well, Supreme One…" he began, choosing his words carefully, "Universe 4 thrives on deception and cunning. Many of our civilizations operate in secrecy, with power plays constantly shifting among rulers."
Beerus' eyes gleamed. "And where do you stand in that game?"
Quitela gritted his teeth, bowing his head. "Nowhere but where you will me to stand."
Kuru, the Supreme Kai, added, "We ensure the balance does not break. Deception is a tool, but we do not allow it to consume our universe."
Beerus tapped his finger on the throne. "Continue as you have, but if I find your games disrupt the greater balance… you will answer to me."
Quitela bowed deeply. "It will be as you command."
Universe 5 – Supreme Kai Ogma & God of Destruction Arak
Ogma, tall and composed, spoke smoothly. "Our universe values knowledge and order. We have guided our civilizations toward enlightenment, and they thrive."
Arak nodded. "We have no conflicts that require intervention. If any arise, we will act."
Beerus simply nodded. "Good. See that it remains that way."
Universe 6 – Supreme Kai Fuwa & God of Destruction Champa
Champa hesitated, sweat beading on his forehead.
Fuwa coughed. "Well, Supreme One… our universe has suffered due to… certain incompetencies."
Champa twitched. "Hey, that's—"
Beerus' glare shut him up instantly.
"Explain," Beerus commanded.
Fuwa cleared his throat. "Due to certain… lapses in discipline, many of our mortal realms are weaker than they should be."
Beerus narrowed his eyes at Champa. "Fix it."
Champa swallowed. "Y-yes, Supreme One."
Universe 7 – Supreme Kai Shin & Former God of Destruction Beerus
Shin fidgeted nervously. "Well… our universe has seen a rise in strong mortals. Some have reached levels of power once thought impossible."
Beerus smirked. "Yes. I am aware."
Shin gulped. "Shall we… alter their progress?"
Beerus chuckled. "Let them be. Their growth amuses me."
Shin let out a breath of relief. "Understood, Supreme One."
Universe 8 – Supreme Kai Iru & God of Destruction Liquiir
Liquiir, the fox-like God of Destruction, stepped forward confidently.
"Our universe remains strong. Mortals flourish under the trials we place before them. They know their place."
Beerus nodded approvingly. "Continue."
Universe 9 – Supreme Kai Rou & God of Destruction Sidra
Rou grumbled, "Our universe is full of the weak and cowardly. It disgusts me."
Sidra winced. "But we have tried to maintain order, Supreme One."
Beerus' eyes glowed. "Weakness has no place in my existence. Fix it."
Sidra shivered. "At once, Supreme One."
Universes 10-12
Each Supreme Kai and God of Destruction reported their status, all knowing one thing—they were now truly accountable.
Failure was not an option.
Beerus' will was absolute.
