With the Grand Priest's decree and Beerus' command setting the ultimatum, the Supreme Kais and Gods of Destruction of each universe found themselves at a crossroads. No longer could the Destroyers act on whim, and the Supreme Kais could no longer be passive overseers. The next 100 years would determine whether the universes could truly flourish—or if some would ultimately face Beerus' divine judgment.
This is how each universe tackled the monumental task of restoring balance.
Universe 1: Supreme Kai Anato & God of Destruction Iwne
Anato and Iwne, among the most composed and respected of their ranks, already maintained a well-functioning universe. However, even their realm had flaws.
Anato: "Our universe is advanced, but even perfection stagnates without innovation. Iwne, we must cultivate growth beyond what already exists."
Iwne: "I will restrain destruction to only what impedes progress. But where should we focus?"
They decided to invest in mortal advancement, fostering civilizations to push scientific and spiritual growth to even greater heights. However, their challenge lay in overcoming the arrogance of their most advanced races, who saw no need for divine intervention.
To fix this, Anato personally visited several of these civilizations, disguising himself as a traveler, imparting wisdom that would reignite the hunger for knowledge and evolution.
Universe 2: Supreme Kai Per & God of Destruction Heles
Heles, a Destroyer known for her obsession with beauty, initially struggled with the new restrictions.
Heles: "How can I maintain a universe of beauty if I cannot remove the unsightly?"
Per: "Because destruction is no longer your only tool. Creation is an art, and it is time you learn to sculpt rather than demolish."
Reluctantly, Heles committed to nurturing the less-developed worlds rather than destroying them. However, some planets resisted change, leading to her frustration.
Eventually, she found a solution: creating artistic competitions across her universe, where mortals were encouraged to beautify their own worlds. Those who succeeded were granted divine protection, and in turn, their planets flourished.
Universe 3: Supreme Kai Ea & God of Destruction Mosco
The machine-centric Universe 3 faced a unique challenge: over-dependence on artificial intelligence. Mortals had stopped progressing spiritually, relying solely on logic.
Ea and Mosco introduced a new directive, forcing civilizations to reconnect with their biological origins.
Ea: "Progress without balance is hollow. They must find the soul within the machine."
This led to clashes between machine-governed societies and those who embraced organic life. Mosco, though silent, used strategic destruction to reset the imbalance, eradicating rogue AI factions that resisted change.
Universe 4: Supreme Kai Kuru & God of Destruction Quitela
Quitela, known for his cunning and underhanded tactics, initially scoffed at the Grand Priest's order. However, the moment he saw Beerus' unwavering authority, he knew resistance was futile.
Quitela: "Fine, fine. I'll play along… but my way."
Instead of brute force, Quitela used manipulation, creating challenges that forced civilizations to adapt and evolve. Kuru, though hesitant, allowed it—so long as it led to true progress.
However, Quitela's schemes nearly backfired when a rebellion arose against the gods, fueled by mortals who had learned too much about divine interference. It took Kuru's wisdom to redirect their ambitions, transforming them into a force of universal improvement rather than destruction.
Universe 5: Supreme Kai Ogma & God of Destruction Arak
Arak was known for his calm and disciplined nature, so he embraced the decree fully. However, his challenge lay in balance.
Ogma pointed out that while Arak's universe was stable, it lacked passion and risk. Mortals had grown too complacent, living in harmony but never striving for greatness.
Together, they orchestrated a divine tournament, where champions from various worlds would compete to prove their civilizations' worth. This reignited a sense of ambition and growth, pushing their universe to evolve beyond mere stability.
Universe 6: Supreme Kai Fuwa & God of Destruction Champa
Champa, always the lazier and greedier counterpart to Beerus, was reluctant to change.
Champa: "Ugh, do I really have to work? I liked it better when I could just nap and eat."
Fuwa: "And now you must rule properly. Or would you like Beerus to handle your failures?"
Faced with the threat of Beerus' wrath, Champa reluctantly got serious. He restructured the Saiyan race, encouraging them to focus not only on strength but also wisdom and leadership.
A particular challenge arose when the Planet Sadala Council resisted his reforms, fearing it would weaken their warrior ways. It took a direct confrontation between Champa and the Saiyan generals to finally establish a new era of disciplined strength.
Universe 7: Supreme Kai Shin & God of Destruction Vegeta
With Vegeta newly ascended as the Destroyer, he took a direct approach. No longer just a warrior, he saw himself as a ruler.
Vegeta: "Shin, no more passivity. We shape this universe with our hands, not just our will."
Shin: "Then let's begin with its weakest points—planets abandoned by their own gods."
Together, they revived struggling civilizations, eliminated those who refused to change, and established a strict balance of destruction and creation.
Vegeta even visited old foes, ensuring they understood that the era of unchecked destruction was over.
Universe 8: Supreme Kai Iru & God of Destruction Liquiir
Liquiir, the fox-like Destroyer, was already a tactician, making him one of the first to develop a strategy.
He and Iru classified every civilization, determining who needed guidance, who needed tests, and who needed to be reset entirely.
One challenge arose when a rogue warrior faction declared war on the gods, refusing their intervention. Instead of crushing them, Liquiir offered them a challenge—survive a series of divine trials, and they would be granted godly knowledge.
Only a few survived, but those who did elevated their civilizations to new heights.
Universe 9: Supreme Kai Rou & God of Destruction Sidra
Universe 9, known as the trash heap of universes, faced the hardest task.
Rou, bitter from past failures, saw it as a chance for redemption.
Rou: "Sidra, we are at the bottom. But now we have 100 years to rise."
Sidra, hesitant as always, was pushed to take firm action. They erased irredeemable forces while uplifting hidden potential, giving their universe a second chance.
Universe 10-12: Various Struggles
Each universe faced unique challenges. Some were too chaotic, others too stagnant. However, the common thread was that every Destroyer and Supreme Kai had to work together.
No longer were they distant figures ruling from afar. They were active participants, shaping their universes with care and precision.
By the time 50 years passed, some universes had already reached new heights, while others still struggled.
By 100 years, the transformation was undeniable. Every universe had grown, learned, and evolved beyond what they once were.
And watching it all, standing above, was Beerus—the Supreme One.
With his decree fulfilled, he prepared for the next phase of divine evolution.
What would come next… was entirely up to him.
