Lara was practically trembling. She couldn't bring herself to think what Raven would do to her little girl.
She felt weak, and numb and defenseless.
Truly, she had underestimated Raven. Raven wasn't the same Raven she used to know. She wasn't the same helpless girl whom she had completely ruined her life... this Raven was different.
Darker... terrifying!
"Wh… what… what do you want?" She trembled, the sound of her voice a sound that grated on her nerves. "I swear to God if you touch a single strand of hair on my daughter's head…"
"You'll what?" Raven taunted, interrupting her, "What will you do Lara? Huh? What will you do? It's not like there's anybody else in my life left for you, your family, and your friends to kill. Or is there?"
Lara closed her eyes and clenched her fist.
What will she tell Felipe? How will she defend herself? What if Raven hurts Lucy? She can't forgive herself if anything were to happen to her little pumpkin.
