CEMETERY

~{FRANCES' POV}~

*

The moment we entered the room, the door closed shut behind us and I jumped in fright when I noticed we were overwhelmed by darkness.

"Don't let go of my hand, Frances," the woman instructed and I hummed in understanding.

I couldn't see a thing nor could I hear a sound. It was very quiet.

And as if to let me know someone was there, we heard footsteps as if the person was running in the dark.

Suddenly, we heard a matchstick strike against a matchbox and when we looked in the direction at which it came from, we found a hooded person holding it in front of his face while smiling at us.

I gasped and staggered backward but made sure to hold the lady's hand tightly.

"What are you looking for, sweetheart?"

He spoke and began to walk in our direction.

"We need to get out of here!" I yelled at the woman but when I turned to face her, I found her holding a candle in front of her face and instead of seeing her face, it was Logan's I was seeing, and he burst into laughter.

"Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!" I shrieked in a loud voice and let go of her hand as I ran in the dark, looking for an outlet.

"Frances, what are you doing!" I heard the lady yell after me but I refused to go back to her.

Thankfully, I found a handle and quickly opened it only for me to stumble onto a hard ground.

"Ugh!" I groaned as I tried to get up but it was difficult until someone offered a hand.

As I took hold of it, I fell back to the ground and noticed I had unintentionally uprooted the person's hand from his arm.

I screamed in horror and threw it away before looking up to see who it was but no one was there. When I looked around I noticed I was in a cemetery with a thick mist in the air.

In fear, I stood up and my legs wobbled, nearly causing me to fall but I struggled to stand still. I felt like crying as I looked around just in case I would see the lady I was with and it was at that moment I realized I didn't know her name. What was I going to do now?

How do I find my way back?

As I walked through the cemetery, my body was shaking badly and I couldn't even breathe quietly.

"Oh Frances…."

I heard my name as it was being sung and it caused shivers to run down my spine.

"Frances! Where are you?"

At that call, I quickly recognized that it was the lady I was with and I hastily ran in the direction I heard the voice.

However, my leg got hooked in something and I fell woefully to the ground while hitting my forehead and I was certain it would bleed due to the impact.

"Frances? Where are you? Just give me a shout!" The lady screamed again and I groaned as I tried to get up but my leg was still stuck.

When I looked to see what held it in place, my eyes nearly dropped out when I found a skeletal hand holding my ankle.

"Ahhhhhhh!!!!" I screamed and tried to let it leave me but its grip only tightened around it.

"LET ME GO!" I sobbed and successfully broke its hand from its wrist.

Although its hand was still wrapped firmly around my ankle, I got up and ran that way and since I couldn't see where I was running to, I ran into someone and fell back on my bottom.

I groaned in pain and looked to see who it was just to find a figure in a red hoodie.

When he turned to face me and I got a glimpse of his face, I screamed in horror because it was decayed.

When I tried to scramble away, he swiftly squatted before me and gripped both of my ankles with his skeletal hands.

"Don't you recognize me anymore, Frances?" He asked but I couldn't stop screaming as I began to cry.

How I wish it was a nightmare, I would've woken up from it.

"Let me go!" I pleaded desperately while crying.

"Come on Frances, where's the fun in that huh?" He asked in a creaky voice and it disgusted me so badly.

At this point I couldn't do anything except to close my eyes and cover my face, hoping that it'll all go away.

Suddenly his hands went from my ankles to my knees and I began to cry even more until…

"FRANCES!"

At her call, I opened my eyes and found myself staring at the lady I was with earlier, instead of a moving corpse and it turned out she was the one holding my legs.

I quickly wrapped my arms around her as I broke down in tears.

"Take me out of here, I don't want to be here," I sobbed.

"But you should be here, Frances. For me."

At those words, I froze in place as my eyes widened. I couldn't even move as I felt him sniffle my hair before carefully running his fingers through it. My body shivered when the cold from his body suddenly seized my entire being.

When I successfully took my hands off him and scrambled away, I found Logan staring down at me instead of the lady.

He wasn't a corpse this time. He was a complete human being with flesh but it was pale in color and his lips were dark grey while his eyes were red and he was wearing a red hoodie but not just any hoodie but Luke's.

He had a very calm countenance as he watched me.

"You… you're… you're a vampire…" I managed to say as realization hit me.

I didn't want to believe it but this was a clear sign that he was a vampire.

When he moved his body, I moved away and quickly got on my feet as I prepared to run but when I faced the other direction, he stood right in front of me, blocking the way.

"Is this how you receive me?" He carefully asked but I couldn't respond.

When he took a step forward, I took a step backward. He was all manly and way more mature than when I first met him.

"Stay away from me!" I warned as I took another step backward but he didn't seem to bother as he kept moving closer.

"How could you just move on like that, Frances?" He asked but I refused to respond.

"FRANCES I'M ASKING A QUESTION!" He yelled in an ominous voice and I gasped in horror when black veins popped around his face and his eyes became bright red while his fangs came out. It was frightening.

"YOU'RE NOT LOGAN! GET AWAY FROM ME!" I screamed back and tried to run away as fast as I could but he appeared on the other side I was about to run to but this time, he was very close to me with no space between us.

I gasped and was about to move back when his arms possessively came around my waist as he pulled me close to him.

"If I'm not Logan then what am I? A monster?" He asked but I was terrified to a point I couldn't speak.

"FRANCES! GET AWAY FROM HIM!"

At the call of my name, I turned to my left in relief that the lady finally found me. She was running towards my direction with fear evident on her face and her clothes were charred like she had gone through a burning house or something.

"Say goodbye," Logan said and fell with me into a freshly dug graveyard I had failed to notice.
