Being a half cast and an alluring beauty in the whole of Weenfield, Frances Franklin's story of her boyfriend dying because of her spread like wildfire and she had no other option but to leave town for a while.
Years later, she returns and makes several friends as well as a new boyfriend.
Together, they became a bond of seven friends who secretly believed in night creatures and celebrated Halloween behind closed doors in their own way which was strictly forbidden in Weenfield.
One fateful day, as they celebrated their usual Halloween by playing a game, they came across a strange question saying; “I gave up my life for you, Frances. How could you just move on like that?”
That question didn't just reopen Frances' past trauma but it also brought her dead boyfriend of many years ago back.
However, the most horrifying thing was that her dead boyfriend wasn't the only person to come back to life but other night creatures were brought in as well…

A LIVING NIGHTMARE

When I went back to the garden, I found Mathew and Toby looking at me in curiosity.

"Where did you take him?" Toby inquired.

"Somewhere," I said and Mathew gaped at me.

"Somewhere? Tell me you know exactly where," he asked and I nodded.

"Will he be alright?" Toby asked to be sure and I nodded again.

Sighing heavily, Mathew looked around before repeating what he said earlier.

At his request, I took a deep breath as I prepared myself before calling out his name.

And as expected, nothing happened.

"Call him again," Mathew urged and I did as he said.

"Try again," Toby chipped in and I did as he instructed. When nothing happened, Mathew sighed heavily as he ran his fingers through his hair in frustration.

"Do you know a place where we could easily reach him?"

At his question, I gave it a thought before mentioning the cemetery and we went there immediately.

"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!" I demanded when I saw giants all around the industry looking lost while some struggled against the authorities who tried to contain them.

"We don't know how it happened, Chief," one of them answered and I glared at him.

"WHERE IS OFFICER ZILLAH?" I demanded.

"With the others at the main area," one of them answered and I immediately headed there.

How could they be so careless and let such creatures into the industry of all places?

Suddenly, my steps faltered as realization hit me. And instead of going to meet Zillah, I changed direction and headed to the investigation room where I had left them, especially Frances.

On getting there, I entered the room just to find it empty.

"Did Zillah take her to the confinement room?" At that thought, I teleported there just to find it empty.

Confused, I went to the main area so I could meet Zillah so she could explain herself.

It was obvious that Frances was the cause of the giants being in our industry. At that thought, I became annoyed.

She HAD to be contained or things are bound to get worse.

On getting to the main area, I found three giants being held down by brown cell officers including Zillah.

The giants were groaning in pain as they tried to free themselves.

"OFFICER ZILLAH!" I called out her name loudly, disregarding the fact that the giants could be a threat to us.

Alarmed, she turned and found me staring at her.

"Chief," she said and quickly hurried to meet me.

"Where is Frances?" I calmly demanded.

"I left her in Officer Joe's care," she responded.

"In Officer Joe's care? Do you realize he's just an apprentice?" I asked and she nodded.

"Then can you tell me why you did that?" I demanded as my blood began to boil.

"Because she can't be contained," she responded and I blinked at her.

"She can't be contained? Are you seriously telling me that?"

"These giants came in here because of her. Wherever she goes, that's where they resurface, Chief." She clarified.

"If that's the case then I have no other option but to take things into my own hand."

Saying that, I vanished out of there.
