UNKNOWN REALM

~{INGRID'S POV}~

*

Once upon a time I used to live in this room alone but now we were three in number.

"What do you think they'll do to us?" Toby inquired.

"I'm not sure," Matthew said and sighed heavily in frustration.

"I can't even make use of my cell," Toby complained.

"Well, that's the thing about this room." I said and they both shifted their gaze to me.

They had finally taken off the handcuffs but we were in the confinement room meant for suppressing and neutralizing cells.

"Frances, can you try again? You're powerful," Matthew urged me.

"Try what?" I asked in confusion.

"Taking us out of here," he reminded me and sighed.

"Come on, Matthew. Doing that will only increase our punishment," I reminded him.

"But why exactly should we be punished? It's not like they have evidence that we practice forbidden things," he said in annoyance.

"What if they have evidence? Do you even know why Mr Greene is the chief of this industry?" I asked and Matthew scoffed.

"She's right Matthew, we can't act rash. Even if she can use her cell it will be wrong to make her do that when it will only get worse," Toby reasoned with him.

"Alright, fine. But Frances at least try. Luke is still out there and you have to bring Job back even though he's annoying as hell," Matthew reminded me and I nearly gasped in realization.

I had actually forgotten I took Job somewhere and the more I racked my brain as I tried to figure out where I left him, I became more afraid that I must've really lost him.

"Frances?"

"Huh?" I quickly looked at Matthew while trying to act calm so he wouldn't suspect a thing.

"Try again," he urged and I sighed.

"I've tried it already Matthew and it didn't work," I let him know.

"What if that vampire is about to kill Luke. Will you forgive yourself?"

At that question, my entire body went cold. If Logan should dare try that then I'll look for a way to kill him myself even though he couldn't be killed.

And with that in mind, I decided to try again.

~{JOB'S POV}~

"I'm going to kill her when I'm out of here. I really am. FUCKING FRANCES!" I screamed in frustration as I tried to find my way out but couldn't.

I was in a deserted city which had uncompleted buildings and was located close to a beach. This was my second day in this forsaken place and I couldn't find my way out.

And since I couldn't get out, I decided to know the place I was trapped in.

The first night I slept in this horrid place, I heard terrible screams and voices of unknown creatures and it had left me numb and unable to sleep properly.

"Where exactly did Frances teleport me to?" I asked that question for the tenth time.

I went through almost every building and found weird things that didn't exist in my world, making me begin to wonder. But one thing was for certain, it looked like humans once lived here.

When I got to a building and began to search, I heard noises and discreetly followed it.

"Hello?" I carefully called out while preparing myself to fight if it turns out to be a monster.

When no one responded, I kept going and climbed the first flight of stairs and it was at that moment I caught someone running and hiding behind a pillar.

Curious, I stealthily rushed to see who or what it was while being careful not to get noticed. And just when I got to the pillar, a lady swiftly moved from it as she revealed herself and aimed her rifle at me.

I stood in shock as I watched her in awe because she had light blue skin instead of the normal fair skin like myself.

"Who are you?" She demanded and took an intimidating step while trying to frighten me with her rifle.

But instead of giving a response, I simply lifted up my hand and the ground formed a hand which took the rifle from her grip and threw it away, making her gasp and step back in surprise.

"What are you?" I asked back and she looked at me in wonder.

"How did you do that?" She asked and I could see the fascination in her eyes, making me nearly puff my chest in pride.

"Answer my question," I said and she glared at me.

"I asked a question first," she reminded me but I ignored her.

"Do you want me to use my ability on you?" I tried to intimidate her but she scoffed, making me blink in confusion.

"Don't waste your energy on me, boy. Save it for the monsters," she said and it was at that moment I heard a loud screech from above.
