Chapter 8 Leaf Concentration Practice

Hearing that the three of them became worried. 

They knew that Jiraiya and his friends were strong but Ame ninjas were also very strong as well.

Seeing their worry, Peter decided to say something.

"There is nothing to worry about, you guys. I can tell you that Jiraiya-san and his friends are more than enough to deal with them."

Yahiko, Konan, and Nagato looked at him.

"Are you sure? If it was like what you say, why did you run away? Why don't you fight alongside them?"

"I am not a ninja. I will only be a burden to them if I were to stay there."

Peter admitted it honestly. Yahiko didn't know what to say when he spoke like that.

"So you are also helpless and weak like us. Don't worry we will make you stronger!"

Yahiko smiled brightly at him. He wasn't the same old helpless child as before. He knew how to use Chakra now.

"Huh?"

Peter didn't have to ask him. Yahiko began to tell him how to become stronger.

He knew how to control Chakra even though it was very basic. It was like an open door to the new thing for Peter.

"This is called Leaf Concentration Practice!"

Yahiko taught him without thinking much. Konan and Nagato didn't say anything to stop him from teaching Peter. To them he was their leader.

The Leaf Concentration Practice was a training method used to gain the basic skills of chakra control. 

This training involved focusing a fixed amount of chakra to the forehead to keep a leaf there without using hands. 

If the stream of chakra was too weak, it would fall off. If it was too strong, the leaf would be pushed away. 

This technique became second nature to ninjas with more practice.

Peter felt really excited after learning the practice and he tried it but failed miserably. Not only did the leaf not be pushed away from his forehead, It exploded!

"The heck!"

Yahiko didn't know much about the practice but he was sure that the leaf shouldn't explode like that.

"D—Did I do something wrong? Why does the leaf explode?!"

"The heck I know! You should stop, otherwise you might expose us to Ame ninjas."

"A—Alright."

Yahiko sighed and then he looked at Konan and Nagato.

Nagato didn't show anything on his face except worry while Konan's eyes were shining. She liked the way the leaf exploded.

"Can you teach me how to explode the leaf?"

She asked Peter. She thought that it might be useful for them in the future.

"I don't know how so I can't really teach you but I can tell you that I just did what Yahiko exactly told me to."

"Hum, maybe you put too much Chakra into the leaf. The leaf cannot handle it and explodes."

"Really, but I use the smallest amount I could."

"That means you are not good enough in controlling Chakra yet. You have to practice more but as Yahiko said. If you practice like that, Ame ninjas will find this place."

Peter could only nod. 

He didn't want to put them in danger. He could train how to control Chakra when he went back to his home world.

He just needed to know how to control it and after that he would be able to improve it by himself. He was Peter Parker. He didn't want to be narcissistic but he was actually very smart.

Even Norman Osborn and Tony Stark wanted him. 

He had so many ideas on how to train Chakra with little information he got from Yahiko.

'I will try it when I get home'

The night had arrived. There was no sign of anyone approaching the house.

"Sensei is still not coming back yet."

Nagato said while looking at the door. He felt insecure when Jiraiya wasn't here.

And he was very hungry now.

"He will come back soon but might not be today. We have to go and find something to eat ourselves."

Yahiko looked at what was left inside the kitchen and it was not enough for them.

"But we don't know if the Ame ninjas were around or not. If we get caught. We might be killed."

Jiraiya told them not to move out of the house as he had made a seal to hide this house from outsiders.

And the war had become intense. It was too dangerous for them to wander around.

Konan also went through bad things with Ame ninjas. She chose to stay hungry rather than go out.

Yahiko couldn't say anything more when Konan pointed that out. But he didn't know when Jiraiya would come back.

Peter looked at the three of them. 

He didn't know how to forage or hunt animals but if he didn't do anything these three kids might starve to death.

They looked sick and weak.

He still could go back to his home world to eat food but they did not have such luxury.

'I need to help them. I can go out and try to hunt animals. Ame ninjas could not keep up with me as I will notice them before they notice me.'
