Chap4:Who's that

The next morning, I woke to the sound of birds chirping outside the window. It took me a moment to remember where I was, the events of the previous night rushing back like a wave.

I woke up from bed and walk towards living room . Jungkook was already up, sitting on couch with a notebook open in front of him. His brow was furrowed in concentration, and his hand moved quickly across the page.

"What are you doing?" I asked, my voice groggy.

He didn't look up. "Making a list."

"A list of what? I asked

"If we're going to figure out why you're here, we need answers. And to get answers, we need to ask the right questions."he said simply

I raised an eyebrow, surprised by his sudden determination. "And you think the answers are just going to fall into our laps?"

Jungkook finally looked up, his gaze steady. "No. But we have to start somewhere."

I sighed, running a hand through my hair. "Fine. What's on your list so far?"

He held up the notebook, and I leaned over to read it.

1. Why was Taehyung sent back?

2. Who or what is his mission?

3. How long does he have?

4. What happens if he doesn't complete it?

5. What does Taehyung need to resolve?

The questions were simple but overwhelming. Looking at them made my chest tighten, the reality of my situation sinking in even deeper.

"Great," I muttered, flopping back onto the bed. "This is going to be fun."

Jungkook smirked faintly, setting the notebook down. "Buckle up, Taehyung. This is just the beginning."

And somehow, I knew he was Right how is it and Before I could respond to Jungkook's smug remark, a knock echoed from the front door, followed by the sound of it opening.

"Jungkook?" A soft, melodic voice called out.

I froze. The voice was familiar, very familer to be honest ,the tenderness in it sent an odd pang through my chest.

Jungkook's head snapped toward the door, his expression shifting immediately. There was a flicker of panic in his eyes before he quickly masked it with calm.

"Stay here," he said, his voice low and urgent.

I raised an eyebrow. "What, are you expecting someone?"

"Taehyung," he hissed, his tone warning. "Just stay in the room."

Before I could argue, Jungkook left the room, shutting the door behind him. Curiosity got the better of me, though, and I pressed my ear against the door, straining to hear and

Maybe I shouldn't have done that.
