Viole's eyes strained to adjust to the darkness, his heart racing with every passing second. "Keitaro!" he shouted again, but there was still no answer.
Suddenly, a faint rustling sound echoed through the room, followed by the soft clatter of metal on concrete.
Viole's grip on Vengeance tightened. "Keitaro, is that you?"
The rustling grew louder, and Viole could sense movement coming from the far corner of the room.
Without hesitation, Viole charged forward, Vengeance flashing in the faint moonlight filtering through the grimy windows.
As he approached the corner, a figure emerged from the shadows. It was Keitaro, his dagger clutched in his hand, his eyes wide with fear.
"Viole, I...I saw her," Keitaro stammered. "She was right behind me."
Viole's eyes scanned the surrounding area, but there was no sign of the vampire.
"Where is she now?" Viole demanded.
Keitaro shook his head. "I don't know. She just vanished."
Viole's grip on Vengeance tightened. "We need to get out of here. Now."
But as they turned to leave, a voice echoed through the room, sending chills down Viole's spine.
"You can't escape me that easily," the vampire purred.
Viole's eyes locked onto the vampire, who stood in the shadows, her eyes glowing with an otherworldly light.
"It's time to play," she said, her voice dripping with malice.
