The vampire stepped forward, her eyes fixed on Viole and Keitaro. "The game is simple," she said, her voice dripping with malice. "You have to survive until dawn. If you can make it that long, I'll let you leave."
Viole shouts. "You expect us to believe that?"
The vampire smiled. "I don't care what you believe. But I promise you, if you can survive until dawn, I'll let you go."
Keitaro frowned. "What's the catch?"
The vampire's smile grew wider. "The catch is that I'll be hunting you. And I won't be alone."
As she spoke, the shadows around her began to move and twist, taking on forms that were vaguely human.
Viole's grip on his katana tightened. "You're not going to make it easy for us, are you?"
The vampire laughed. "Easy? Ha! I'll make it impossible."
And with that, the game began.
The vampire vanished into the shadows, leaving Viole and Keitaro to fend for themselves against the growing horde of minions.
Viole charged forward, Vengeance flashing in the dim light. Keitaro followed close behind, his dagger at the ready.
Together, they fought their way through the minions, trying to survive until dawn.
But as the hours ticked by, Viole began to realize that the vampire's game was more complicated than he had initially thought.
There were rules, hidden patterns, and secrets that only the vampire knew.
And Viole was determined to uncover them, no matter what it took.
