Ignis used Abyss Flame to turn the core of Zephyrokron to ashes. Ashkaris was amazed by Ignis's skills.
Ashkaris placed his hands on the ashes of Zephyrokron and uttered the word, "Resurrect." The ashes reformed into the core of Zephyrokron. He handed the core to Ignis and said, "It was only because of you that we were able to defeat Zephyrokron and I managed to survive this battle. You deserve this core."
Ignis replied, "No, I don't deserve this core. Besides, you weren't even going all out against Zephyrokron."
Ashkaris chuckled. "Oh, you noticed? Well, yes, I wasn't going all out. But if I had, would you have been able to grow this much?"
Ignis smiled and reluctantly accepted the core of Zephyrokron. Just as their conversation ended, Ignis heard someone calling his name. It was Kharos. Ignis and his team were overjoyed to see each other alive.
Meanwhile, in the throne room, the remaining four commanders of the Devil Army had defeated the four commanders of the Chimerid Army. However, the Devil commanders were now on the brink of death. They stood no chance against the King of the Chimerids.
"You tiny creatures thought I would let you take over my planet? I am Siren, the Emperor of Meldara. There is no way you insignificant beings can defeat me!" Siren declared, looking down at the Devil commanders with disdain.
As Siren prepared to finish them off, a blue flame halted his attack. It was Mira, the vice-commander of the Hellflame Phalanx.
"Another tiny creature steps forward to get crushed," Siren sneered.
Mira stood firm. "I won't let you kill them!"
Siren laughed. "You won't let me? Hah! You Devils come here, trying to take our planet by force, and now you demand mercy for your kind? You beasts are delusional!"
Mira, unable to answer his question, focused on her mission to protect the wounded commanders. She charged at Siren, but his overwhelming speed outmatched her. He grabbed her leg and slammed her into the ground, breaking her backbone.
Before she could use her regeneration magic, Siren whispered, "Bez." His finger glowed, and he struck the center of Mira's chest. Blood poured from her mouth, eyes, and nose. Mira stopped moving.
Siren grabbed her head, ready to crush it, but before he could, someone sliced off his hand. It was Ashkaris, who quickly pulled Mira away. Before Siren could retaliate, Kharos and Indraksha wounded his legs, and Ignis pierced him from behind. Arrows and flame balls followed, wounding Siren's chest.
Siren's skin was incredibly durable, but the attacks were enhanced by Lilithra's succubus magic. However, Siren instantly regenerated all his wounds, and his severed hand grew back.
Ashkaris checked Mira and was devastated to find her dead. Tears streamed down his face. Mira was his daughter, his only family alongside Fenrir. His wife had died giving birth to Mira, leaving them as his world. Now, Mira was gone.
Siren smirked. "Oh, that little bitch is dead? Hahaha! She talked big, but she was just as pathetic as those other filthy creatures lying over there. Or perhaps worse." He gestured to the unconscious commanders in the corner.
Consumed by rage, Ashkaris summoned the Crimson Fenrir and attacked Siren with his full power. He called forth his true sword, Phoenix, whose flames burned four times hotter than the sun.
For Ashkaris and Fenrir, Mira had been everything. Ashkaris unleashed a massive flame wave with Phoenix, and Fenrir struck with his Crimson Claw, but even their combined strength could not penetrate Siren's defense.
Siren whispered, "Kusung." Blood gushed from Ashkaris and Fenrir's mouths. Fenrir collapsed, unable to move, and Ashkaris, already drained from the battle with Zephyrokron, was exhausted. But his anger kept him standing.
Siren pointed his palm at Ashkaris and uttered, "Bez." The deadly magic moved toward Ashkaris but was stopped by a barrier created through the combined efforts of the Shadow Reapers, using flame, dark, stone, succubus, and death magic.
The Shadow Reapers knew that if Ashkaris died, their fate was sealed. Siren's elemental nature remained unknown to them, but Ashkaris, consumed by fury, charged forward and unleashed his ultimate move, The Eternal Phoenix. The attack finally broke Siren's defense, leaving a wound that persisted until Siren's demise. However, Ashkaris exhausted all his mana in the process and collapsed, powerless.
Despite the wound, Siren remained standing. The Shadow Reapers were too weak to protect even themselves. Siren walked to his throne and sat down, a smile of superiority etched on his face. His mere presence brought the Shadow Reapers to their knees.
But then, Ignis and Indraksha rose and charged at Siren, activating their Devil Modes. "Devil Mode 1: The Horns!" "Devil Mode 1: Ice Devil!" They attacked Siren with all their might, but his aura alone deflected their strongest moves.
Siren raised his finger and chanted, "Bez." Before the magic could hit them, someone sliced off his finger—Asmodeus, the supreme commander of the Devil Army, had joined the battle.
The stage was set for the ultimate showdown: Asmodeus vs. Siren, the King of the Chimerids.
