As the battle between Lyssendra and Elytheia finished, everyone's attention moved toward Cage 1, where something was happening.
"That bitch of a woman, just wait until she comes out, and I'll show her what real masturbation looks like. I swear on my name, I'm gonna make her ejaculate in front of the whole crowd," uttered Elytheia in anger.
Asmodeus then announced, "There's something the stupid author forgot to tell before the start of the tournament. That dumbass forgot to mention that Round 1 will end when only 10 million soldiers are remaining in total across all the cages. Don't blame me for this, and yes, that dumbass forgot one more thing. The time cycle of the Celestial Cage has been changed: 1 hour in Nethralis equals 1 day in the Celestial Cage. Now, let's get back to the tournament."
In Cage 1, many soldiers were being obliterated by the Commander Beast and the Apex. They were all hungry and in need of a food supply, and the only food supply in the Celestial Cage was the Celestial Beasts and the newly added Werewolves.
Ignis and Indraksha also realized that now they, too, needed a food and water supply if they wanted to win Round 1.
Ignis attacked a base built by a soldier. The devil soldier was a demon rank and among the rarest race of devils—the Jins.
Jins (or Djinns) are supernatural beings found in Islamic theology and Arabian folklore. They are created from smokeless fire and are considered sentient, with free will to do good or evil. They are often invisible but can manifest in various forms, such as animals or humans. Jins can be good, evil, or neutral, and they live in a parallel world to humans. They are capable of influencing human lives, sometimes possessing individuals or causing disruptions. There are also various types of Jins:
Marid: Powerful and often rebellious, known for granting wishes.
Ifrit: Malevolent Jins associated with fire, typically considered evil.
Shayatin: Evil Jins that work to lead humans astray.
Qareen: A companion Jin assigned to each human, influencing their thoughts and actions.
Hinn: Jins associated with natural forces like winds or storms.
The name of that demon rank soldier was Jalzar. His element was one of the most unique, The Wish—the element that holds the most potential among all the elements in the universe. The user of The Wish can summon any elemental power to attack an opponent, but the user can't summon the same elemental power continuously. If the user wants to use the same elemental power again, it can only be done after a time limit has passed since using that particular element. The elemental power the user summons is directly proportional to their current power level.
Jalzar attacked Ignis by wishing for the lightning element, and a thunderbolt struck Ignis, which he barely dodged.
Ignis tried to grab Jalzar's neck but failed because Jalzar used the power of smoke and turned himself into smoke. Ignis then used his fire element and chanted "Inferno," but it also failed because Jalzar used the power of the magma element and turned into magma.
Jalzar then wished for the water element and trapped Ignis in a whirlpool.
Ignis had the fire element, so it was obvious that his power was at a disadvantage against water. But when an element's power is connected with the user's core, that particular element is weak against its opposing element. In that case, the attack from the opposing element causes double damage.
Ignis was taking damage at a rapid speed. He used Inferno again and vaporized the entire water of the whirlpool.
Right when Ignis vaporized the whirlpool, Jalzar punched him in the face, sending Ignis flying and making him fall 2 kilometers away from Jalzar. Jalzar gained this much raw strength by wishing for the element that provides an extreme amount of buffs to strength, Titanite.
Ignis's condition was bad—if he didn't do anything about Jalzar, he would be eliminated from the tournament.
Ignis then charged toward Jalzar and summoned his Hellfire of the Abyss.
Right when Ignis summoned his Hellfire of the Abyss, some words came out of Asmodeus's mouth: "YES! IT'S THAT SWORD, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. BUT HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?" He was shocked to see the Hellfire, for reasons still unknown.
Ignis used his attack, "Abyssal Flame," on Jalzar, but this time Jalzar dodged the attack. Ignis found it odd because the last time he used his fire element power, Jalzar had turned into smoke and magma. This time, however, he preferred to dodge the attack. He realized that it wasn't because of the power of his Hellfire since it was the same fire element.
Ignis attacked Jalzar again, but this time, rather than blocking the attack, Jalzar wished for another element. Right when the Hellfire was about to touch Jalzar, his whole body changed into tungsten, and the element he wished for was Durium. Jalzar felt no damage from the strike of Ignis.
Meanwhile, Indraksha found a couple of celestial beasts and killed them. The amount of meat he was going to get from the celestial beasts could easily last for a month. Indraksha started collecting resources for cooking the meat when suddenly, an arrow came flying toward him. He barely dodged it.
The one who fired the arrow was an elite-rank soldier, Fiora. Her element allowed her to summon a bow and a crossbow with an infinite amount of arrows. She could change the nature of the arrows to any type, such as fire arrows, poison arrows, etc.
Indraksha summoned his battle axe, knowing that if the battle became long-ranged, he would lose. So, he charged toward Fiora to reduce the distance between them. Suddenly, Fiora charged a barrage of arrows with different elements toward Indraksha.
Indraksha summoned a wall of ice in front of him, but the arrows with magma, poison, and fire elements pierced right through the ice wall, and the poison arrow gave him a small wound on his left biceps.
She summoned her crossbow and then charged toward Indraksha. In crossbow combat, the closer the range, the more the bolt retains its initial velocity and kinetic energy when it strikes the target, resulting in more impact force.
She placed her crossbow on Indraksha's forehead, but before she fired, she looked at him, blushed heavily, and fell to the ground.
She woke up and said, "You... yo-, you are so HOT! WTF! WHY ARE YOU SO HOT?!"
From the spectator's area, Lilithra was watching the match and angrily said, "WHY TF IS THAT BITCH SAYING THAT TO INDRAKSHA?!"
Nyxara, surprised, teased Lilithra, "Why are you getting so angry? Are you his girlfriend or what?"
Lilithra said to her while being in an anger tone, "YES I AM HIS GIRLFRIEND! " but realised what she said and blushed heavely.
Nyxara continued, "Oh, so you are his girlfri-,... WAIT WHAT?! WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN?"
Lilithra, in a shy tone, said to Nyxara, "Right after the War of Meldara. I gave him his reward, and then we started dating..."
"AND YOU DIDN'T THINK IT WAS IMPORTANT TO TELL US??" questioned Nyxara in a slightly surprised tone. Lilithra answered, "We just thought we'd tell you guys later..."
Nyxara started teasing her again, "Well, whatever. It looks like that lady is head over heels for Indraksha, and she even looks cuter than you. What if Indraksha leaves you and starts dating her?"
Lilithra replied proudly, "That's never gonna happen. I already bound him in a master-slave contract, and if he tries to form a romantic relationship with anyone else, he will die."
A master-slave contract is a contract commonly used by succubus. Succubus usually form this contract with someone they want a romantic relationship with or from whom they want sexual pleasure.
"Oh, I never thought you wanted to be a slave to Indraksha, you pervert," teased Nyxara.
Lilithra replied proudly, "I guess you misunderstood something else. I'm not the one who's a slave here," and started laughing in an evil tone.
Nyxara got scared from Lilithra's evil and lewd thoughts.
Meanwhile, Fiora asked Indraksha, "Woul-... would you... would you mind if I stay with you?" in a very shy tone.
Indraksha replied, "That's not possible for two important reasons. First, I have a girl who will kill me if she sees me with another girl, and second, it's a tournament, and you're my opponent."
After hearing Indraksha's words, Nyxara whispered sarcastically, "Oh, what a poor boy. His first priority is his safety from his own girl."
Lilithra said to Nyxara angrily, "Did you say anything, Nyxara, babe?"
Nyxara denied it, and their attention shifted to Screen 1, where Indraksha was now fighting Fiora—not to win the tournament, but to save himself from Lilithra's punishment.
Indraksha told Fiora that he wasn't going to show mercy, even if Fiora refused to attack. Fiora then proposed a condition to Indraksha: if she defeated him, Indraksha would have to date her. Indraksha accepted her condition.
Indraksha summoned a battle axe with both ice and stone elements. Fiora launched several fire arrows toward Indraksha, and he easily deflected them using his battle axe.
Then, he charged toward Fiora, closing the distance where he could perform a lethal strike. But before he could, his left hand went numb. The poison arrow that hit Indraksha a few minutes ago started showing its effect, and Fiora launched a magma arrow from her crossbow into his left chest.
The arrow hit his left chest, severely injuring him. Indraksha fell to the ground, and Fiora excitedly said, "You remember the condition; you're gonna be mine now."
She loaded her crossbow and began walking toward Indraksha.
Meanwhile, Lilithra was going mad with anxiety, yelling, "WHY TF DID YOU ACCEPT THAT BITCH'S CONDITION, YOU DAMN BASTARD!? I'M GONNA KILL YOU IF YOU LOSE TO HER!!"
Fiora was now close enough that one strike of her crossbow would eliminate Indraksha. She said, "Say, my master. I won't eliminate you if you accept me as your bride. Do you accept me?"
Indraksha replied, "I thought I told you I have a girl waiting for me," and suddenly uttered, "Ice Domain." Everything around Indraksha turned to ice, even Fiora.
Indraksha said, "Never celebrate early, little girl," and stood up. Then, using his stonice battle axe, he sliced the frozen Fiora into two pieces, leading to her elimination.
The moment Fiora came out of the Celestial Cage, Lilithra charged toward her, shouting, "YOU DAMN BITCH, HOW DARE YOU TRY TO SEDUCE MY INDRAKSHA?!"
Fiora responded, "Oh, so you're the whore after my lord Indraksha?"
Lilithra angrily retorted, "WHO TF ARE YOU CALLING A WHORE, BITCH?!"
Nyxara tried to calm Lilithra down and lied that if she attacked Fiora, Indraksha would get disqualified because Lilithra had just revealed that she was now associated with Indraksha. After hearing this, Lilithra sat silently, watching the match while consuming her anger.
