Chapter 1

My sister and I were chosen by the superpowers on the day of the end of the world.

I chose the most useless healing ability.

My sister chose the coolest-looking powerful ability - creating lightning.

With no place to display her powerful ability, my sister was struggling to survive among the survivors.

But I was reused by the leader because I could heal everyone.

I wanted to help my sister out of trouble, but she pushed me into the zombie group out of jealousy.

When I opened my eyes again, we returned to the day of choosing superpowers.

"I choose healing!" My sister spoke first.

I peered at the dazzling electricity crackling in my palm and grinned.

It was the ability I had craved in my former life.

————

I emerged from blackness and warmth.

My sister's gaze twinkled as she declared with a smirk, "Sister, now it's my chance to unwind and relish."

Noticing the faint emerald light in her grasp, I shook off my bewilderment and observed the weak sparks dancing in my own hand.

Both my sister and I had been reincarnated.

In our previous existence, my sister insisted she required a formidable power to shield her delicate self.

I yielded and allowed her to select the electricity ability first.

Who would have imagined she'd evade confronting the undead, incapable of enduring hardship, squandering her mighty gift and ending up performing menial tasks at the compound, barely hanging on.

I opted for what appeared to be a worthless healing power but was treated like royalty by all the compound's leaders.

Once, I rescued her from the brink of death by an undead.

At that moment, she could only gaze up at me as others shielded me.

Blinded by resentment, she guided me into a horde of undead, intending for us both to perish.

In this life, my sister promptly claimed the healing ability.

Before I could process it, pandemonium erupted around us.

At the dawn of the apocalypse, my sister and I were fortunate to find sanctuary in a large supermarket, where we successfully awakened our powers.

Provisions were abundant, but unrest was fermenting among the people.

"From this point forward, everyone must venture out and eliminate the undead, or face permanent banishment from the supermarket."

A young man with fair complexion and a gentle air, yet exuding authority, proclaimed.

His name was Julio, charismatic and competent, and he swiftly seized control of the supermarket with rigid regulations.

"Why should we comply?" "This isn't your property; you have no right to expel us!"

Julio smiled, his eyes crinkling, "Because of this." He elevated his hand, and with a thunderous crack.

Everyone was shocked into silence.

Under the weight of absolute dominance, everyone gradually shuffled outside the supermarket.

My sister approached Julio delicately, murmuring, "I've developed a healing power; I can assist you."

Julio arched an eyebrow, his eyes gleaming, "Very well, you may join us."

He concluded speaking but shifted his gaze to me, standing quietly to the side.

Observing this, my sister gestured with her pale hand, "That's my sister, she's adept at slaying the undead; you should position her at the forefront."

She looked at me, her eyes brimming with hostility.

I simply beamed brightly.

What my sister failed to realize was that in my previous life, I envied her immensely.

I yearned for the electricity ability.

Instead of depending on the healing power, becoming confined by others.
