Zoran's accusations seemed somewhat laughable to me.

He could abandon me countless times for Serena, who was God knows where, and humiliate me in front of everyone.

But I wasn't allowed to show even a hint of independent resistance.

"This is my fiancé."

"If I don't defend him, should I defend you instead?"

Zoran, unable to contain himself any longer, rushed up to me:

"Felicity, I'll let it slide once as a joke. But repeatedly provoking me like this is really not funny."

"You're carrying my child in your belly, yet you say you're marrying someone else. Don't you find that ridiculous?"

Zoran's eyes fixated on my stomach.

Everyone's attention was drawn to us.

"Zoran, have you forgotten that day when you told me to get rid of the baby?"

Zoran, in disbelief, stumbled back a few steps.

"Felicity, did you really abort the baby?"

His voice trembled noticeably as he spoke.

"Zoran, cut the act. I aborted this child, who could be happier than you..."
