79. Soldiers

While until now, I had already experienced the impossible, while I also had a vision of a garbage place that didn't look like earth in the future, now and only now, it finally sunk in.

This was not just about me, this was about the world.

The guys had to skip school and get themselves weapons and some special training—no idea what exactly, but they had to be prepared. Damn, so much time was already lost.

And regarding my grandma... if she had been at her home, she was now definitely in the hole, most probably dead. 

Ice-cold fear gripped me just thinking about it. The picture of what should have just been a hole, was so devastating, that I felt somehow uprooted. 

If you can't even trust that the earth will continue to carry you, then what the fuck can you believe in? It was deeply unsettling.
