Behind Her Back.

"Alara " he had let himself in.

She wasn't in the living room so he checked in the bedroom, noticing the bathroom door open.

She must be taking a bath he thought ,seeing her black attires scattered on the bedroom floor.

Quietly he moved to peep ,to see her naked soaking in the tub. Her face was blushed and she had dozed.

He frowned coming closer ,softly he called her name but she was too weak to answer.

Rae bent down and gently carried her out of the tub and walked out of the bathroom.

He laided her down on the bed and grabbed the towel covering her in it.

"Alara , wake up " he said tapping her cheeks .

Her eyes opened ,as her breathing evened .

"You shouldn't stay too long in the tub ...it's dangerous " he murmured.

"Mmm" her face frowned ,She breathed now fully awake .

"Your back ?" she muttered.

He nodded .

Alara frozen as her eyes moved down to see her wet naked body pinned to him as he held her.

"What are you doing ?" She yelled slapping him away .

He fell back off the bed , groaning he sat up meeting her angry face.

"What did I do ?"he rubbed his now red left cheek.

"Get out " she yelled instead .

"You don't need to hide from me , I have seen everything..". he let out.

But she grabbed a pillow throwing it to him . "Don't make me repeat myself ".

He stood up walking to the door leaving .

"But you can't do that ....you made a deal with her " Adrian stood up.

"We did but if she does go through with it then we are killing two birds with one stone . She will be able to stay as our weapon and the Declays threat will be gone too"his superior explained

"But it would be going behind his back , it was him who had given this deal". yelled Adrian.

"And it makes it's even better it won't be our problem . And he only did that cause he wanted her close to him , his the one benefiting from it now ".

"But we all know she can't kill him now that she is carrying his child ".

They laughed out at him .

"She is a killer , a weapon . A cold blooded assassin, and if pushed in the right directions no matter what the situation is , she will kill for us and nothing will stop her " .

Adrian gazed back at the four members on the table and sighed.

"Your all making a big mistake " he muttered.

"You don't need to worry about this anymore , let us handle it . All you have to do is play along and relay our instructions to her " one of them said.

Adrian left the meeting room with a dark frown on his face .

He had wanted to call Alara immediately and tell her about it but then if he did then he would put her and everyone else in danger .

They where going behind her back and using her wrongly to eliminate the target she has failed to do .

All they saw was Rae having won the with making Alara fall for him and carry his child.

His phone vibrated . A text from Alara saying she was ready for another mission.

He frowned, even after promising to take care of herself .Scarlet had gone back on her word and asked for missions one after the other . He had been giving her easy ones so she wouldn't over work herself but she kept demanding for her usuals ones.

He sighed .

"Can we meet ?" he replied back .

Adrian was sipping on his coffee at the place they had agreed to me , when he noticed her walking towards it. Dressed in black damaged jeans matching it with a grey cropped top and a black leather jacket and black boots . Her hair pulled back in bun .

She always avoided flashy clothes ,he sighed maybe it was because of her job .

There eyes met as she walked in and a light smile appeared on her face.

"Hi " she moved hugging him.

"How have you been " they sat down .

"Busy " replied Alara.

The waiter took her order leaving.

"You don't look so good " he let out.

She frowned touching her face with questioning.

"Really , thought I always looked pale " she muttered.

He chuckled. "Not that , I meant your gaining weight . It's only been a few weeks and your body looks different ".

She blinked then frowned again.

"It's his fault , he kepts feeding me like crazy "

Adrian smirked.

"Hia doing the right thing. As long as your body is looked after ,you might be able to still do this job before your belly starts to show ".

She sighed taking a sip of the water the waiter had delivered.

"It won't get in the way ...I won't let it ".

"You can't do anything about it. Everyday it's growing and soon you won't even be able to move as you used to " he let out.

She glared back at him.

"Well am going to be it's mother it will have to listen to me " she uttered.

"Have you fallen for him yet ?" He suddenly asked.

Alara paused gazing back at him.

"What are you suddenly asking ?" she muttered.

"Cause I want to know ...you have been staying with him for awhile now and he doesn't seem to want back out anytime soon " he pointed out.

She breathed trying to calm her nerves.

"He is determined to make you his woman and I believe his one step ahead since he got you pregnant already " he stated.

"Getting pregnant was my mistake, I let him fool me and it happened. But that doesn't mean I will fall for him and betray the organisation. If that is what your worried about then believe me am not at all in love with him or ever will" she announced.

"You are our best and a role model to many in the organisation. Known to leave nothing but dead bodies of your targets . So I still can't believe he was able to fool you as you claim and even get you to bed with him ".Adrian let out. "You have had handsome ,rich and powerful targets to eliminate but you never fell for any of them , so how was he different ?".

Alara was silent .
