You seem down these days is something the matter ?"

Alara sat up when her mother in law sat next to her.

She had been sunbathing on the terrace after Rae left for work in the morning.

Lost in thought she didn't hear her come out.

"No ,am fine "

"Your not used to being in one place ....the pregnancy is getting in your way ?!"

Alara sighed her hand resting on her belly.

"It's not getting in my way ,am glad I have all this free time but I just don't know what to do with it "

Mrs. Declays chuckled.

"Dont you have anything you have always wanted to do . Apart from your job, something you feel would be fun to try ?".

Alara breathed thinking.

"I don't think I have ever had the time to think about that . Since I was young all I have ever had in my mind was to survive to the next day so I could see mom and Mia "

She felt a hand take hers , it was warm and smooth.

"I guess you never had a normal childhood which affected the way you see the world. But that doesn't mean you can't try now , we don't know when this peace will end so why not use it and do all the things you feel will make you happy "

Alara smiled.

"Well, I have always wanted to the park "

"Park...you mean the amusement park ?". asked her mother in law.

She nodded .

"Mom took Mia a few times and I loved seeing the pictures they took . I loved seeing them happy but I sometimes wished I could go there once "

"Alright , go upstairs and get ready . Let's go to the park " she said.

Alara giggled , "Right now ?".

"Yes , right now " she said.

When she returned from upstairs she found Charlotte ,Mia and Rae's mother waiting for her downstairs.

"Mom isn't here , so she will miss out on the fun . But no worries we will take all the pictures and show her " Mia took her sister's hand .

"Oh, your coming too?" .

"Of course , unless you want to go alone " Charlotte muttered.

"No , I have no idea what to do there. You guys will make it fun " Alara smiled.

They got into the car and headed to the amusement park.

"Why is it empty ..it's seems closed " Alara gazed at the huge gates of park.

"No it's not ,mom reserved it so we could have fun " Charlotte whispered to her.

"Huh....reserved the whole of it . That wasn't necessary. We could have just joined in with the others " she muttered.

"Don't forget your pregnant and need to be careful . And we don't usually love being in crowds " Charlotte explained.

She knew what that meant. They rarely mingled with people of the lower class or public places since they where more of celebrities.

They walked in and where welcomed by the staff.

Mia took Charlotte's hand and they rushed off leaving the two behind.

"Mother , are you going to try any ?" Alara asked.

"No, I will enjoy the snacks , go have some fun " she said pushing her to the director of the park. "Take care of my daughter and make sure she is happy "

The man standing next Alara nodded and lead her away.

"What is it , Rae ?" Rae's mother answered her phone .

"Mother , are you hiding something from me ?".

"What do you mean ,Son".her eyes on Alara who was gazing at the rides like a little girl .

"I received a call from grandfather ".

"Oh...is he okay ?" she asked.

"Mother ?" he called to her.

She sighed , "Let me send you something " taking a picture of Alara smiling while riding the merry-go-round ,she sent it to him.

He saw it and hang up .

She chuckled and sat back.

A few moments later his car parked outside the park.

He walked in and sat next to his mother .

"She is smiling " he gazed back at Alara.

"Mmm".

"How did you know it would make her....she is so beautiful " he kept gazing at her . Mia and Charlotte had joined her.

"I asked her " she answered.

"Maybe am not doing enough ".

"You are but you need to take it slower with her. She is different which makes everything complicated . Alara's life is changing and not everyone handles change well especially a person who has been hiding from her real self . She was trained to hide her emotions ,never smiled and always follow commands ".

"I don't want her to change ,mother . I just want her to look my way for once and see me the way I see her " he muttered.

"She will son and soon".said his mother.

"Am scared that I might have taken her away from the thing that really makes her feel anything . And that might...." his mother stopped him.

"All you need to do now is to keep showing her how much you love her . And things will work out ".

"Is it that simple ?" he asked.

"It is and you need to make her realise her feelings. for you fast....for your grandfather is making an appearance ".

He frowned turning to face her .

"So it's true , you did tell him "

His mother sighed.

Alara turned to check on her mother in law and noticed someone seated next to her. She frowned recognising him.

"Rae?" She mouthed and ran off towards them.

Mia and Charlotte turned back to see Rae sitted next to his mother.

"When did he arrive ?"Charlotte asked.

"Don't know , but we all know why his here " Mia chuckled watching Alara run off to him .
