"Mom , can't you stay alittle longer" Charlotte held onto Lydia's hand.

"Am sorry dear , but we have overstayed already" she hugged her.

They where heading back home. It had been cleaned and was ready for them to move back in.

"Then can I visit ?" She asked.

"Anytime ...and I know Mia would love that " Lydia smiled.

Mia nodded .

"Am coming too" Alara was coming down the stairs.

"No your not ....your husband wouldn't like that " said her mother.

Alara frowned.

"His not my husband yet ...and you know why am worried mother" she muttered.

"Don't worry we will be fine " she assured her.

"Then call me incase of anything and make sure to ...." her mother stopped her ,pulling her closer into her chest.

"Take care o yourself first ....I want a healthy grandchild " she said.

Alara sighed hugging her back .

"Don't worry mother , we will take care of her " Charlotte let out.

"Am sorry for us to leave when your mother and brother are not here ..but please pass my thanks to them " said Lydia to Charlotte

"I will , travel safely " Charlotte nodded.

Alara saw them out to the car .

Charlotte left soon too leaving her alone at home .

Alara was sleeping when a knock came to the door .

"Come in ".

The maid came , "we have guests " she announced.

"Guests !" She yawned. No one had told her about guests coming over.

"Alright , I will be down in a minute " she got out of bed.

When she came down stairs she heard voices down in the livingroom. She got closer and was about to say her greetings when the female guest saw her.

She was dressed in a blue suit ,her hair down in big curls with perfect makeup , she carried herself with grace as she stood up .

"So your the leech " she let out.

"Am sorry " Alara frowned.

"Grandfather , you where worried for nothing. She looks more than a homeless person than a...".

"Don't ..." the man she called grandfather said.

Alara turned to gaze down at him.

He looked to be in his eighties but with a good kept body ,a perfectly shaved white beard with dark shoulder length hair, a white streak running through it. His eyes looked fierce but held a familiar gaze .

"Before my grandson returns , pack your stuff and leave " he said.

"Grandson?!"Alara frowned confused.

"Don't act dumb we know how smart you are ....now go get your stuff and leave before I make you " the female muttered.

Alara breathed .

"Am sorry ".

"Am Rae Declays grandfather and she is Ivana his future wife " the man stood up introducing himself.

Her eyes fluttered, no wonder they seemed alike. Then her eyes moved to the lady standing next to him ,the arrogant air around her was intimidating but not enough to scare her.

She turned to the maid , "Go get some something for the guests ,they must be exhausted" then looked back at the them .

"Nice to meet grand father ....my name is Alara ....".she was stopped

"Alara Brooke ...your known as Scarlet in the underworld and work for the Shadow organisation . You have been an assassin since the age of 10 and have been the best in the field"

Alara's smiled disappeared.

"You leave nothing but bodies and no witness ,which has made it hard for anyone who doesn't know who you are to identify you . Alara your other life ,revolves around your mother and sister and have no father . Since he was killed by the organisation after your ...". She stopped him.

"Am sorry but did you come here to read out my personal information or see your family " she gulped .

"No I didn't , I came to show you that you don't belong in the family much less next to my grandson . A killer for a wife ...that is the worst joke I have ever heard " he glared down at her.

She sighed.

"Don't you have any shame , seducing Rae and making him suffer like this. He would never get involved with such a nasty organisation or a half baked woman like you " Ivana muttered out.

"Am sorry but he did the seducing " Alara said out.

"What ?!" they both spat out.

She scoffed.

"Long story short , I was sent to kill him but instead he seduced me into his bed. Got me pregnant and followed me around like a puppy until I asked to marry him " she let out with a smile.

"My grandson ..would...never do that " stammered his grandfather .

"Well he did , I didn't get pregnant on my own " she replied.

"Stop lying , he would never agree to marry you or cheat on me " Ivana cried out.

Alara laughed rasing her hand the finger with a ring on it .

"Sorry but we have matching rings and his cheated on you more than once with me "

She stepped back took a deep breath as the maid walked back in.

"Am sorry to have welcomed you with such alarming news , but please calm down and have some tea.

Let me call mother and tell her of your arrival " she turned walking away.

She closed the bedroom door and let out a heavy sigh.

"I shouldn't have done that ' she murmured to herself, her heart on her chest calming her loud beating heart.

But it's alright , let's call them so they can handle him.

She moved grabbing her phone .
