Rae walked to the bathroom , Alara had been inside longer than usually. Knocking he called her name.

"Alara ,are you okay ?" he asked.

"Mmm" she answered.

"Really , your taking your time inside there " he muttered leaning beside the door.

"Am fine " she said.

"Okay , find me downstairs " he said leaving .

"Okay ".

Alara looked down at her phone ,after hearing about what Rae's grandfather had done she finally decided to open the texts from Adrain's assistant.

She was telling her about the change in the organisation after the death of the four leaders.

Adrain being promoted . The last text she had received had pictures of Adrian and Ivana meeting.

She frowned. Had they known each other before or he had contacted her since they both had a common agenda.

"Thanks " she sent her reply.

Another text came in instantly .

"Your in trouble , the boss is planning something with her " it said.

"It's okay don't worry I will handle it " she replied.

"I understand " she texted back.

She took a deep breath and finally opened the door coming out. She bumped into something flinching back.

"Ouch " she cried. Rae's arms held her as he raised her head to him.

"Sorry ,what is getting you all distracted not to see me "he muttered rubbing her forehead.

"Nothing "she blinked with tears in her eyes.

He sighed gazing down at her.

"It's him ?" he asked.

She didn't answer pushing him away to leave ,but he held on .

"Alara answer me " he let out.

"No ,it was someone else " she answered.

"Really , then why are you acting this way? " he asked

Her eyes glanced down at his hand tightly holding her by the wrist .

"Rae ,your hurting me " she mouthed.

"Tell me the truth Alara ...who is it that you were talking to ?"

She frowned.

"What is wrong with you ?" She asked back.

"I just want to know who it is ....is it him?" his speech slowed like he was holding back something.

"I said no" she jerked him off walking to the door .

But he caught up with her and placed his hand on the door not letting it open .

She turned to face him again.

"Alara don't lie to me " he gritted his teeth.

"Am not .. it's you who thinks I am " she yelled back.

He moved back glaring at her. For the first time she felt scared of him. What had happened when he left .

She frowned remembering the text she had got from Adrain's assistant. Adrian had met with Ivana , had they done something already.

"Rae , tell me what's wrong ?" She asked.

"Your lying to me " he answered.

"Why do you think I am ?"

"Cause you are ..I saw the texts he sent you " he answered.

"The texts he sent me, he didn't send me any texts "

"Alara ....." He called to her.

"You can check my phone if you don't believe me " she offered.

But he didn't take it , "you deleted them , he told you to "

She smirked moving to the bed ,sitting down .

"Was it Ivana who told you about this ?" She asked.

His silence gave her the answer and Alara sighed.

She opened her phone and passed it to him.

"This is what I was getting and didn't want you to see" she said.

He got closer taking the phone ,he frowned seeing the pictures of Ivana and Adrian.

"How does she know him ?" he muttered.

"That is what I want to know too" she answered.

"You could have just told me " he said.

"And say what that your grandfather chosen wife for you is secretly meeting my boss , for her is still my boss " she let out.

He passed the phone back to her.

"I don't want your family to think am trying to make her look bad and I wanted to first get prove that she is doing something behind our backs "

"How did she do it....I thought you didn't trust her ?" Alara asked .

"It wasn't her but ....when you refused to tell me . It seemed true then " he muttered.

"Well it's not , am sorry if I didn't tell you about it. But I thought I could handle it myself " she said.

He was silent .

Alara moved to grab his hand but he moved back .

Rae walked off leaving the room again.

"Charlotte , did you see your brother this morning " asked Alara the next morning.

"No and am heading to the company . To attend a meeting on his behalf . His not there too" she answered.

"Oh okay , go ahead "

"Wait , is something wrong ?" Charlotte asked.

"Don't worry first head to the company ".

Charlotte left .

"Did something happen ,Alara ?".

She heard her mother in law's voice behind her. Looking back she saw her walking up to her with his grandfather.

"Morning mother in law , morning grandfather " she smiled.

"Morning dear...you look pale . Did something happen " asked her mother in law.

"Maybe my grandson finally saw through her"commented the grandfather.

"Grandfather I know about your deal with the Shadow organisation and I wanted to thank you and also ask if you know about Ivana's secret meetings with Adrian , my superior ?" She asked.

"What nonsense are you talking about. Yes I did have an agreement with them . But not Ivana. She never met any of them " he muttered.

"Then explain this to me ,grandfather " she passed him her phone.

He frowned seeing the pictures on the phone.

"That's not impossible , your trying to frame her ". he muttered.

Alara scoffed.

"Why would I bother doing that ,she is already doing it herself" she let out.

"She would never do that " he added.

"But she did...and I don't care what she does with him. But please let her know to keep her nose out of my relationship with Rae". Alara's voice was filled with anger.

"What do you mean ?" asked his mother.

"Because of her , I had to sleep alone last night ....and it was.." she stopped meeting there gazes. "She has to pay for that ,so warn her not to appear Infront of me "

She turned leaving .

"Oh my she is finally showing her feelings for him " commented his mother.
