"You might be the best killer in the underworld but that is all you are , a killer " Ivana spat out.

Alara stayed silent. 

"A killer can't be a wife much less a mother. So why don't you make things easier for me and disappear. Rae will never marry you and your baby can't be raised by a killer  ". she added. 

She felt a gush of wind blinking but then gasped . 
Alara had her table knife down on her neck , the coldness of both the steel on her neck and look in her eyes sent shivers down her spine.

"Love put the knife down " Rae said to Alara. 
Ivana gulped still staring into the cold blood thirsty eyes down on her. 
she didn't seem to want to move . 

Rae stood up and gently took her hand from Ivana's neck , "Come on , let's get you some cake " he said to Alara. 

Suddenly her eyes turned soft as she dropped the knife and followed her fiancé off to the kitchen.

"You have been quiet since we set off " Rae turned to Alara.

They had decided to go see his grandfather and also see if she could help with finding the antidote.

She smiled but didn't say anything .

"Is this about the organisation, am sorry I didn't tell you " he said.

"No it's not . I know your angry for not telling you but I thought it would have been better informing you after the birth of our child "

She gazed back at him with a smile .

He sighed taking her hand but then she slowly pulled away.

When they finally landed , Alara kept her distance from Rae, who noticed it right away.

Aaron and Shawn moved closely behind her not saying a word.

"Your here " Aurora welcomed them when they finally reached the mansion.

As she got out of the car she noticed the stares coming from the guards surrounding the huge estate.

"Hope the trip didn't tire you " she lead her inside .

"No , am fine " she turned back to see Rae following them inside.

"Let's get you to your room so you can rest. Then we will talk about ...." Alara stopped her.

"No mother , Grandfather's life is in danger we have no time for that. I want to see him and the doctors " she muttered.

"Okay " Aurora glanced at her quiet son . He barely smiled as he followed them to his Grandfather's room.

He was connected to life support and other beeping machines. His face was pale and he looked different from how she remembered him.

"Oh my his not okay " she uttered.

Rae glanced down at him and frowned . She was right he looked nothing like his grandfather .

They heard him walk out and Alara sighed.

She sat down next to him and gently took his hand . It was cold that it scared her. Slowly she rubbed it between hers.

"Hi grandfather it's me ,Alara " she said.

"I know we have our differences and you don't want me anywhere near you or your family . But I can't do that now ,with this growing great grandson of yours ..." She giggled "and your grandson wont let me go so easily " .

"I didn't know I would fall in love with the warmth I have got from all of them . You have a wonderful family and because they still care for you even when you don't see eye to eye ,made me realise that I need to save you if I can ".

"We love you too Alara " whispered Aurora.

She smiled back at her mother in law.

"So grandfather please hold on , for them "

"Alara dear you can go ahead with him so he can take some blood samples from you " said Aurora.

"Yes mother " she stood up but then turned back.

Her hand was being held back , they all looked down to see that he was holding her hand .

"Am going to save you , just holding tight " she muttered.
