What To Feel
"Let me know when you have the results " said Alara to the doctor.
She left the room and asked Aurora where Rae was .
"The maid said he was in the garden by the terrace" she said.
"Oh, could you please show me the way mother " she requested.
Aurora chuckled taking her hand.
"Come on " she said.
They walked out the back door took a right then headed up some stairs and arrived in the garden.
She gasped looking at the beautiful colours of flowers.
"This is beautiful , mother " she commented.
"All his grandfather . He takes care of them delicatly " she smiled.
"It's really amazing " she let out.
"Mmm" Aurora paced back taking out her phone.
Alara was still lost in the beautiful scenery to notice her take photos of her.
"Your so photogenic,my dear " she commented looking at the pictures she had taken.
Alara giggled as she moved closer to take a look at them .
"Is that me " she blinked.
"Yeah, you have a wonderful smile " Aurora let out.
"Thanks mother ".
"Now if you head towards that direction ,you will him" she gently pushed Alara forward.
"Oh okay , thanks mother "
She kept on walking in the direction they had told her and finally saw Rae. He was seated lost in thought .
Quietly she walked up to him and gently tapped his shoulder.
He turned to see her smiling down to him.
"What are you thinking about ?" She asked.
He blinked gazing up at her , like he lost in her smile.
"Love ?" she called.
"You " he replied.
"Huh?".
"Am thinking about you " he let out.
She giggled moved closer to embrace him in her warm arms.
"Really , and what exactly what is about ?" She asked .
He breathed in her scent ,smiling.
"Something about you and me , naked and wrapped in bedsheets in our room, you breathing heavily as I ...."
She gently slapped his back as she covered his mouth, "Don't say that out loud "
He chuckled holding her tighter.
"You asked ?" he muttered.
He pulled her down to his lap ,holding her . She sat and leaned down in his chest.
"Are we okay ?" he asked.
"Mmm".
"Then why do I feel like we are not " he voiced.
She sighed.
"This is about that , isn't it ?" He asked.
Alara looked up at him.
"Your angry ,isn't it?".
"Am not angry ...I dont even know what to feel "
He breathed.
"Yes I was angry that you didn't tell and alittle surpised that you wiped the all so easily like that "
"It was with Grandfather's help " he muttered.
"I know ...and when I calmed down and thought about it . I found out that I was just sad "
"Sad?".
She nodded.
"Maybe because it was like my home for a long time. They might have turned against me but they where once people I looked at like another family. So when I found out about what you did ,I feel sad and then confused about why I was feeling that . When it was them who betrayed me ".
His homd tightened.
"Am sorry I didn't tell you but after what he did to you and our child. I couldn't let them hold anymore power over you " he said.
"Thank you for not killing the innocent ones " she muttered.
"You won't ask about him...what happened to him ?"asked Rae.
"No, for Ritah said you killed him ".
"No I didn't ... that's what I let everyone believe but he isn't dead"
"Huh?" She sat up bumping into his lower chin.
He groaned in pain falling back as he wrapped his hands around it.
"Oh my am so sorry love ...I didnt mean to " she cried out.
Alara stood up trying to check if he was okay but he didn't look up.
"Rae , let me see . Please " she cried .
"Am fine " he mumbled.
"No your not " she pulled up his head and paused when she saw tears in his eyes.
He blinked still covering his chin and mouth .
"Love ,please let me see "
Slowly he pulled away to expose a red swollen bump on his chin ,but Alara froze again when she saw the blood on his lip .
"Your ..your...ble..ending" she fell back .
He was fast grabbing her by the waist . He gently pulled her back to him realising she had fainted.
He chuckled holding her lumpy body in his arms .
