Sarina

The rest of Anon's day passed as usual. He told Susu everything that happened to him during the ceremony. Surprisingly, she listened attentively to him, sitting in one place. After listening to the end, Susu just turned her head to the side and stared blankly at him.

Her mood hadn't changed much.

Susu understood the meaning of awakening. Of course, she would like Anon to awaken and sign a contract with her.

Then they will both be bound by a contract.

But if Anon doesn't awaken, there's an opportunity to become a Contractor. Her ancestor will help with this. She believed in it.

Susu's thought process was simple.

Over the past year, since then, the family has separated, Anon lived in this house with Susu. Although the curse causes others to ignore Anon and divert all attention from him, he still exists for his family.

His mother knows that she has a son. And like all mothers, no matter how much the curse tried to shield her from him, she instinctively took care of him.

Before following her youngest daughter, she asked her younger sister Sarina to keep an eye on Anon and keep an eye on his life.

Sarina listened to her sister's requests and visited Anon and Susu from time to time, looking after them.

The curse did not escape her either. She didn't dwell on him too much either. She was just following her sister's request and just looking out for her so-called nephew, who didn't care that much about her.

And today, on the day of the awakening ceremony, Sarina came to visit her nephew after work. As always, she looked tired and not in the mood.

Sarah and Sarina, although they were sisters, have different mothers and both took more from their mothers than from their father. Comparing the looks of both of them, it is impossible to call them sisters. They didn't look like each other at all. Different height, hair color, eye color and different parameters of all three sizes.

Compared to her older sister, Sarina was shorter and smaller in everything. But most importantly, unlike Sarah, Sarina was an ordinary mortal. She was neither a beast tamer nor a Contractor.

At the same time, her love for beasts and pets allowed her to study and graduate as an beast planner and trainer.

To fulfill her dream, she opened and maintained her own store for the provision of services for the sale of food, treatment, study of evolutionary pathways and the care of pets of Beast tamers.

Grumbling under her breath, Sarina entered the house.

Her long blonde hair was braided and reached her hips. She was wearing her usual clothes of a pet store employee.

"She abandoned her son and makes me look after him!" grumbling, Sarina went up to the second floor and stopped when she reached the door of Anon's room. Whenever she came to visit her nephew, she felt strange. Her thoughts were confused.

Due to her profession as a planner for spiritual beasts, Sarina had a sharp mind and memory.

She always kept in mind the details of the pets she was currently watching and keeping in her store.

But whenever she came to look after her nephew and his pet, she had unexpected obsessive thoughts about leaving the house quickly and going about her business.

Shaking her head, she pushed open the door to Anon's room and went inside.

Anon was sleeping on his bed at the time. The past day had been exhausting, thanks to the awakening ceremony that had exhausted his mind. After coming home, he quickly cooked dinner for himself, ate, then washed up and went to bed early.

Susu kept up with him all this time and followed him everywhere and eventually lay down next to him on the bed.

When Sarina entered the room, Susu raised her head and looked at her. She had noticed her arrival a long time ago, so she didn't pay much attention to it.

When she saw that Anon was fast asleep on the bed, and his pet was looking at her, Sarina stood for a while longer, then turned around and left, grumbling under her nose.

Due to the confusing thoughts, she started cursing Anon that it was all because of him. If only she knew that all these awkward and confusing moments were really because of Anon.

After making sure that his nephew was all right, Sarina went into the kitchen, checked the food supplies and the condition of the kitchen. Every time she visited him; she was surprised that his nephew was clean for a single man.

The garbage, apparently, was only todays. There was no unpleasant smell in the kitchen.

After checking everything and making a transfer to Anon's account for weekly expenses, Sarina wrote a note and decided to return home and relax.

The curse had completely baffled her. She didn't even notice that Anon was already 16 years old and today he was supposed to undergo an awakening ceremony. She knew that Anon was her niece Anna's twin brother, but it slipped her mind that he and how she turned 16.

Although she and her sister had different mothers and they were different from each other, the sisters had a good relationship. Sarina really liked both of her nieces. One followed in her sister's footsteps by becoming a Contractor, and the other was scheduled to undergo an awakening ceremony today.

Sarina was sure that if the youngest did not awaken, she would also follow in her mother's footsteps, and if she was lucky, she would follow in her father's footsteps and then a second beast tamer would appear in their family.

Although Sarina was jealous of her sister and nieces, she was happy with her life and work. Even before becoming a beast tamer and Contractor, she was connected to spiritual beasts.

She understood that her sister got what she got because of her mother. Unlike her, her mother was neither a beast tamer nor a Contractor. She was an ordinary mortal who was lucky enough to meet his vile father, who had a little affair with her mother, which resulted in her. And that his so-called father had another more powerful woman who gave birth to a daughter for him.

Knowing her background, Sarina firmly decided not to turn to her sister for help. She did not want to get help from another woman of her father, deciding to go with the flow and get what she could get on her own.

The next morning, Anon woke up early. He slept soundly all night and had a very good rest. It's been a long time since he's had so much sleep.

After washing and dressing, he went downstairs for breakfast. Sarina left a note on the kitchen table, making it clear that she had come yesterday and transferred the money to his account.

"So, she came yesterday?" asked Anon Susu after reading the note. Susu nodded her head in response.

"I wish I'd waited for her," Anon said.

Although the curse interfered with others, Anon enjoyed exchanging words with his aunt. Although she behaved like everyone else, Anon managed to get interesting stories related to her work out of her.

And yesterday, after his unsuccessful awakening, Anon began to come up with ideas to try to follow in his aunt's footsteps and become a planner. He even thought maybe he could get a part-time job this summer during the summer holidays at her store.

There's still some time left before the summer holidays. There was still time to think about plans for the summer. Last summer, due to Sursa's college admission and Anna's private school entrance exams, the whole family except Anon was busy with their own affairs.

He spent the whole summer at home in the company of Susu.

He didn't want to spend the summer at home again. He wanted to do something to distract himself, to dispel the already established boredom and loneliness.

After eating and packing his things, and patting and kissing Susu on the forehead, Anon went to school. The results of yesterday's awakening ceremony were supposed to be announced today.
