Chapter 10: The Meeting
Antonio's limousine pulled up to a nondescript warehouse on the outskirts of town. Kristen's anxiety spiked as Antonio gestured for her to exit the vehicle.
"Stay close to me," he growled, his eyes scanning the surrounding area.
Kristen nodded, her heart racing. She had no idea what this meeting was about or who they were meeting.
As they entered the warehouse, Kristen saw a group of rough-looking men gathered around a makeshift table. Antonio's presence seemed to command their attention, and they nodded respectfully as he approached.
Antonio gestured for Kristen to stand beside him, his eyes never leaving the men. "This is Kristen," he said curtly.
The men nodded, their eyes flicking to Kristen before returning to Antonio. Kristen felt a shiver run down her spine as she realized the weight of Antonio's words.
Here's a revised continuation of Chapter 10:
As they arrived at the estate, Antonio turned to her. "You're free to do as you please tonight," he said curtly. "But don't think about trying to escape."
Kristen nodded, feeling a mix of relief and frustration. She knew she had to be careful around Antonio, but she also couldn't help feeling a little annoyed at his dismissive attitude.
As she got out of the car, Kristen noticed Victor standing by the entrance, watching her with an interested expression. Antonio's eyes flicked to Victor, and for a moment, Kristen thought she saw a flash of warning in his gaze.
But then, Antonio turned and walked away, leaving Kristen to wonder what was going on.
As Kristen stood there, trying to process Antonio's words, she realized the true extent of her situation. She was his slave, bound to him by some unspoken code.
Antonio's rules were clear: no one else was allowed to touch her, to hurt her, or to kill her. That privilege belonged to him alone.
Kristen felt a chill run down her spine as she grasped the reality of her situation. She was completely at Antonio's mercy, subject to his whims and desires.
She thought back to the meeting earlier that night, and the way Antonio had introduced her to the other men. "This is Kristen," he had said, his voice cold and possessive. "She belongs to me."
Kristen had felt a surge of fear at those words, but she had tried to push it down. Now, she realized that she had been foolish to think that she could escape Antonio's grasp.
As she stood there, lost in thought, Kristen heard footsteps approaching. It was Victor, his expression curious.
"Hey, Kristen, what's going on?" he asked, his voice low.
Kristen hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. But something about Victor's kind eyes put her at ease.
"I think I'm starting to understand my situation," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Victor's expression turned serious. "You mean, you're starting to realize that you're Antonio's property?" he asked.
Kristen nodded, feeling a lump form in her throat.
Victor's eyes filled with sympathy. "I'm sorry, Kristen," he said. "I really am."
Kristen felt a surge of gratitude towards Victor. He was the only person in Antonio's organization who seemed to care about her well-being.
But as she looked into Victor's eyes, Kristen knew that she couldn't trust him completely. She was a slave, after all, and Victor was still a part of Antonio's organization.
