A Mother's Resolve

The walls trembled from the force of gunfire as Mia and Victor sprinted through the dimly lit corridors. The estate was under siege, but Mia refused to let it all end here.

"Containment wing is ahead," Victor said, his voice clipped as he reloaded his weapon. "We have to get here before they breach the main hall,"

Mia's fingers tightened around the pistol he had handed her earlier. The weight of it was heavy, but not as heavy as the responsibility she carried.

Her baby.

She wasn't just fighting for herself- she was fighting for life growing inside her.

A sharp turn, then another. They're ached the containment wing, it's steel- reinforced doors looming ahead. The plan was simple: lure the mercenaries inside, trigger the lockdown, and cut off their exit.

Mia's heartbeat pounded in her ears as Victor accessed the security panel.

"They're close," he muttered.

Mia turned, gun raised, just as the first wave of attackers stormed through the hallway.

No hesitation.

She fired.

The shot struck the lead mercenary in the shoulder, sending him crashing to the ground. Victor followed up. Taking down another before shoving Mia behind cover.

"Nice shot," he said through gritted teeth.

Mia exhaled sharply, forcing herself to focus."they won't stop coming."

Victor pulled a smoke grenade from his vest. "Then let's give them a reason to."

He tossed it into the hallway, and thick clouds of smoke bellowed outward. Chaos erupted as the enemy scrambled blindly, coughing, shouting.

"Now," Mia shouting.

They moved as one ,firing precise shots while falling back towards the containment chamber.the mercenaries, blinded and desperate, charged after them.

Exactly as planned.

Victor hit the control panel. The moment the cast enemy stumbled inside, he slammed his fist against the emergency lock.

CLANK!

Massive steel barriers crashed down, sealing the room.

The mercenaries realized their mistake too late.

Mia's chest heaved, adrenaline surging through her veins. they had done it.

Victor smirked "That should keep them occupied. "

But Mia wasn't smiling.

Because even as silence settled over the estate, she know this wasn't over.

Not yet.

Meanwhile, on silas Voss's island.....

Alexander and his team moved like ghosts through the dense jungle. The compound loomed in the distance, an ominous fortress bathed in the glow of flood light.

Silas voss was inside.

And Alexander was going to tear through hell itself to get to him.

"We go in quite," he ordered, voice low but commanding. "No alarms, No mistakes.

His man nodded.

Alexander's gaze flickered toward the sky.

Mia.

He had to end this war before it reached her.

Before it reached their child.

Taking a deep breath, he stepped forward.
