Mia & Baby Castello

The room spun as Mia stared at the screen, her name and her unborn child's name glaring back at her like a cruel prophecy.

"Victor…" Her voice trembled, a mix of rage and fear bubbling beneath the surface. "How long have they been watching?"

Victor exhaled sharply, rubbing his temples. "Based on the timestamps, at least a year. Maybe longer."

Mia's stomach clenched. That meant Silas had targeted her before she even knew she was pregnant.

She swallowed hard. "Alexander needs to know."

"I already sent him the file," Victor assured her. "But you need to prepare yourself, Mia. If Silas wants your baby, it's not just about revenge. This is bigger than Marco. Bigger than we realized."

Mia's hands cradled her belly instinctively. "I don't care what his reasons are. No one is taking my child."

Before Victor could respond, an alert blared from the surveillance system. The screen flashed red—Perimeter Breach Detected.

Mia's pulse spiked. "What now?"

Victor pulled up the security feed. Dark figures moved stealthily through the shadows outside the estate. Armed men.

"Damn it," Victor cursed. "They're here already."

Mia's mind raced. This wasn't just an attack—it was a retrieval mission. They were coming for her.

"We have to move," Victor said, grabbing his earpiece. "Team, lock down the estate. We have incoming hostiles."

Mia steadied herself, pushing aside the fear. She had survived Marco. She had survived kidnapping. She wasn't going to cower now.

"Where's my gun?" she demanded.

Victor glanced at her in surprise. "You're not fighting."

"I'm not running either," Mia shot back. "Not when they're after my baby."

Before Victor could argue, gunfire erupted outside. The battle had begun.

Meanwhile, on the Mediterranean…

Alexander adjusted his earpiece as the private jet cruised toward Silas Voss's island. His team sat around him, going over their tactical plan, but his mind was elsewhere.

Mia.

Victor's encrypted message had come through moments before takeoff, and the words haunted him.

Target: Mia & Baby Castello.

A slow, burning rage built inside him. Marco had been a monster, but Silas was something else entirely. Calculated. Patient. A man who saw life as a science project rather than something sacred.

Alexander clenched his fists.

He had vowed to protect Mia and their child.

And he would burn the world down to keep that promise.

As the island came into view, the mission was clear.

Silas Voss wasn't going to walk away from this.

Not alive.

Back at the Estate…

Gunfire rattled through the walls as Mia and Victor made their way toward the secure panic room. But Mia's instincts screamed at her—hiding wasn't enough.

She needed to end this.

She grabbed Victor's arm. "I have an idea."

His expression was grim. "I don't think I'll like it."

Mia pulled up the estate's internal security system. "We lure them into the containment wing. Seal them in."

Victor's eyes flickered with realization. "Trap them."

Mia nodded. "And we take out whoever's left."

Victor let out a short, approving breath. "You're scary when you're like this."

Mia's lips curled into a determined smirk. "Then let's give them something to be afraid of."

The estate was her home.

And tonight, she would defend it.
