At that moment, Boy used Spirit dash, however, he did not move his whole body. This time, he used it to shift his position and in the moment, his teeth began to glow.

Shadow Bite!

Both skills were used almost simultaneously and Boy's mouth charged, aiming right for the wolf's neck.

However, the wolf reacted at the final moment, shifting its head but Boy had been prepared for this.

'Gotcha!' he shouted internally with pride, 'I had a feeling that you would be able to dodge. Now for the real attack!'

 Boy's jaws continued past the wolf's neck and chomped straight on the wolf's front right leg.

Crack!

A loud cracking sound rang out as the wolf immediately let out a high-pitched shriek of pain and began to struggle and bit Boy in panic. 

Boy was actually very surprised at the durability of the wolf as he felt the muscles and the fur of the wolf were extremely tough and thick. Had it not been for Shadow Bite, he definitely would not have been able to actually damage the wolf.

Feeling that his jaws and teeth had clearly firmly embedded itself into the wolf's leg and even feeling the bone break, Boy immediately began thrashing his head around as he yanked on the wolf's leg with all his strength.

However, the wolf was constantly biting it and had managed to inflict some wounds onto him.

'I need help!' Boy thought as he forced his head to go into overdrive as he thought of a plan. 

He had initially planned to take the wolf down with Shadows of the Pack but he had massively underestimated the defense of the wolf leader. 

'My shadow clone doesn't do enough damage to penetrate its skin. The wolf is too strong…' Boy's head ran through every single plan he could think of until he realised it, 'Weak points! No matter how strong it gets, it can't strengthen some parts of itself!'

In that instant, he went through with it as he moved the aether in his body and his whole body began to glow purple as tendrils of dark energy coiled from his shadow, forming a spectral replica of himself.

It flickered and solidified right behind him, appearing from his shadow. 

Shadows of the Pack!

The moment it formed Boy acted as he went from yanking aimlessly to a sudden hard push which caught the wolf off guard as it fell to the ground.

Not giving the wolf any time to recover, Boy placed his body over the wolf and the wolf retaliated as it bit down hard on Boy's front leg, causing a searing sharp pain to shoot straight up to his head.

'Bear it!' he hardened his mind, despite the pain that he felt, 'The scaled beast that hurt me did so much more damage to me!'

He had achieved what he wanted to do, the wolf had been pinned down, and despite how much it tried to wiggle itself free, Boy was planted right on top of it like a immovable boulder.

The shadow clone that had appeared behind him, immediately rushed forward in that instant as it leaped over his body with its jaws wide open.

It landed with extreme precision as it bit down hard on the wolf's eyes.

Puchi!

In that moment, a long loud high-pitch shriek sounded as the shadow clone's front canines sank right into the eyes of the wolf, puncturing deep as blood immediately sprayed out everywhere.

The wolf's vision immediately turned black it felt it's ability to see become completely cut off.

'I need to act fast!' 

Boy moved as soon as the wolf let out a shriek as its bite on his ribs was immediately let go.

He let go of his bite on the wolf's leg as blood sprayed out, revealing a large chuck of the inside of the wolf's leg which had come loose with bits of white bone visible and hanging while blood pooled out of it in a steady flow of red.

Feeling its leg being let go, the wolf immediately retreated and attempted to stand up but just as put weight on its damaged leg, a sharp pain shot through it causing it to fall right back to the ground.

As it stumbled back to its feel, the hairs on its back stood up as it felt an impending sense of danger coming from its back. Instantly, it rotated itself and the moment it felt something, it bit down hard.

However, just as it bit down, the sensation of biting an animal, of flesh, did not come at all. 

Instead, it felt that it had bitten something soft for a split second and right after that, the feeling of biting nothing, just air, came.

Spirit Dash!

Shadow Bite!

Just as its jaws closed, it felt a sharp paining sensation on its neck and it heard the dripping of a liquid. Its strength began to wane as it slowly fell to the floor, losing all strength as it let out its final breaths.

In the instant that the wolf got up, the shadow clone had charged forward with its role being to act as the decoy. 

A few metres away was Boy who was waiting for the right time as his body began to glow purple once again. 

In the instant that he saw the wolf act, he used both his skills, appearing in front of the wolf at a speed that left it with no time to react. 

And it was in that moment, that his jaws clamped down right on the wolf's neck, biting off its wind and food pipe in that instant.

'That's a lot of experience…' Boy panted as the notification came in and his whole body came crashing down as he relaxed.

His whole body began screaming at him as all the pain began to intensify as his adrenaline slowly began to dissipate.

Boy breathed heavily, exhaustion weighing down his limbs as he read through all of the notifications that came from the system.

'I win!' he thought happily but something in the system caught his attention.

'In pursuit?' he pondered but in that moment his hackles immediately spiked up in alarm as he felt a sudden wave of danger. 

Having put his body in a relaxed state, he was not able to get up as quickly and a sudden, sharp pain tore through his side.

Shlick!

His vision blurred as he turned to the site of the pain.

Embedded right on his chest, was a long dagger. 

And holding it, was the farmer.
