39. Fujiwara Reya's Little Schemes

The place where the vengeful spirit resides is an office building nearing completion.

The entrance has already been surrounded by blue plywood, with the words "No Entry" scrawled on it in chalk.

Two men were guarding the entrance, both agents from the Ninth Section.

"Oh, the inspector is here." One of the agents saw Inspector Suzuki approaching and smiled as he spoke, "About to get promoted and still running into something like this, what bad luck indeed."

"I've had a bad premonition for a while now..." Inspector Suzuki joked to himself, "Why does this ominous sixth sense have to be so accurate?"

"You're getting promoted?" Fujiwara Reya looked at him.
