I have an infinite number of shikigami

I didn’t find much in this novel to keep me interested. Only started this as it was most likely the best option from the other 10 min read ones. The MC is a son of a Mountain God and a Shrine Maiden, who is left behind when the family relocates to their divine land or whatever it was, celestial court maybe. He isnt allowed to go as he hasn’t established enough merit to allow entry with the family so he he stays behind living at an old abandoned shrine, left to him by his mother. The story just didn’t grab me at any particular stage. He is a basic recluse, attends school, liked by many females, performs exorcisms to make money and has a system of sorts, basically an information type one (go here, do this, receive points etc). I think the use of the various Japanese lore weighed me down a bit as I am not well versed in this and most times it was more questioning why such things happened. Anyways, this wasn’t really for me and in hindsight I should have made a better informed selection, though others may find this suitable for them to read and take in.
