Typical Chinese novel, where the poor MC is spurned, ridiculed by the wealthy elite, not knowing he is either a (a) retired mercenery king, (b) reincarnated young master or similar, or (c) disciple of a hidden master bearing lost ancient knowledge. So it’s a typical genre that develops along the standard Chinese lines where strength is everything. His growth is not rocket fast, but a reasonable pace. My only critique I guess would be that he is pretty clueless, which could be accounted that he was living in a remote locale, however he carries grudges which is either arrogance or low EQ, as in not being able to compartmentalise events to gain more from things. Anyways, I would be interested in knowing if there is a Raw available so I can better see how many chapters are out.

Honestly the author of this book is too great. I love every details he puts to this story. You just have to always look forward to the next chapter. Great book.

I am currently at 1270 chapter, from the last 600 - 700 chapters the story and chapters are all filled with fight scenes and nothing else, the seemingly good novel has become very boring, only fight scenes and nothing else.
