A Visit from the Past

Ha-na took a cup of water from the kitchen and handed it over to Min-seo, watching carefully as she took a sip.

"Grandma, you scared the wits out of me," Ha-na scolded, putting a hand over her chest to calm her rapidly thudding heart. "What on earth happened?"

Her entire body still shook from the shock of finding her grandmother slumped against the floor. She had nearly called the ambulance when Min-seo had roused from her comatose state.

It was almost like a repetition of that fateful night ten years ago – when she had rushed from school down to the hospital after her grandmother had the accident. She didn't want to recall that horrible day.

What was going on? First, she – now her grandmother – all in the space of one night? Was this some kind of misfortune haunting them like a vengeful spirit when they had done nothing wrong?
