Nublar Academy stood tall, a behemoth of a institution that embodied the pinnacle of military excellence in the Terran territory.
Founded five years into the brutal war between Fantasia and the Terran Federation, this esteemed academy was the brainchild of a Class 5 Terran soldier - a warrior of unyielding valor and strategic brilliance.
As the premier military academy in the land, Nublar Academy was a magnet for the best and brightest young minds, all eager to hone their skills and prove their mettle in the heat of battle.
Its imposing structures and state-of-the-art facilities seemed to hum with an air of intensity, a testament to the academy's unwavering commitment to forging the next generation of Terran warriors.
Arriving at the front gate of said academy were numerous vehicles dropping students to be for the entrance exam.
Numerous aspiring cadets strolled in through the academy gate, excitement buzzing all around.
The place was crawling with high-society families - aka the nobles.
Different vehicles some possessing their insignia some not, dropped off their wards at the gate and went to a different section.
Nathan arrived in a sleek black car. The car was rented for him by his 'father'. Looking at the academy, he couldn't help but be mesmerised.
The academy was huge. It had a modern castle like design surrounded by six tall, towering skyscrapers giving it an even more imposing look.
Nathan looked around at the numerous students hoping to see at least one of the main cast.
Although that was still unlikely tho. This was Nublar Academy, the largest academy in Terra, and they are the enemies of Fantasia. The place the protagonist is from.
Not seeing any of the main cast that were from the academy, Nathan simply sighed and decided to go inside, following the lead of the numerous students who knew where to go.
***************
Inside a wide expanse of space, countless aspiring students could be seen. This was the waiting area.
They would wait here for the examiner to take them to the site.
As Nathan scanned the room, his eyes searching for familiar faces, the whispers around him grew louder, with some students gushing in awe.
"Is that really Lenny Patterson?"
"I know, right? He's actually attending this academy!"
"First place is basically a done deal now."
Nathan's curiosity got the better of him, and he turned to locate the source of the whispers.
That's when he spotted a young boy with a chiseled face, chatting with his clique. He had blonde hair and green eyes.
Eyes of adoration greeted the boy, with some gazes tinged with envy.
Lenny Patterson. He was a major antagonist in the novel. He was the first born son of Major Jonny Patterson.
Lenny in the novel and this world was a prodigy who had a knack for combat.
And currently he was supposedly the strongest first year with a rumored synchronisation rate of fifteen.
Which was an insane feat for a sixteen year old as based off just synchronisation rate alone, he was on the level of a Class one officer.
The room was still buzzing from Lenny's arrival when a new wave of whispers erupted.
Everyone's heads turned to the entrance, where a girl with a hauntingly beautiful presence had just walked in.
Her long, white hair flowed down her back like a silky waterfall, and her piercing blue eyes seemed to freeze everyone in place.
But what really caught attention was her expression - or rather, the lack of one.
Her face was a mask of calm indifference, as if she was completely detached from the commotion she was causing.
"Whoa, is that Elizabeth Bathory?" someone whispered. "General Linus Bathory's daughter?"
The name dropped like a bombshell, and the room was filled with a mix of awe and intimidation.
Lenny, with his rumored 15% Synchronisation rate, was considered one of the strongest aspiring first years - but Elizabeth's arrival made it clear that he wasn't the only one to watch.
She was the real deal, and everyone knew it.
As she walked to the front, her eyes and Lenny's met and there was a spark of rivalry between them.
Elizabeth Bathory. The daughter of General Linus Bathory, the head of the Bathory family, one of the ruling families of the Terran federation.
In the novel, she was a villainess through and through. Infact in the novel she killed countless Fantasian soldiers before finally being killed by the protagonist.
Nathan couldn't help but shake his head. He had to deal with monsters like this in the exam.
"Silence". A voice said in the most calm manner, bring an end to the whispers in the area.
Nathan looked forward or rather upward at the imposing figure of a man floating in the sky, his hands neatly behind his back and his chest pushed forward slightly.
The man had brown hair, and a large beard. He gave off an overwhelming aura even from afar.
While most students didn't immediately recognise who he was, Nathan and others from prominent families did.
He was Adam Armswell, the principal of the Nublar Academy.
"Welcome, aspiring cadets," Adam spoke. His voice wasn't loud.
In fact, it felt as though he was talking to a friend in front of him, but even then, every single one of the hundreds of youths sprawled across the expanse heard him clearly.
"As I'm sure most of you already know, my name is Adam Armswell. And I am the principal of this academy."
"Cutting to the chase, this academy was founded with one purpose in mind: to transform each and every one of you into elite warriors. That's all you need to know for now."
"Now let's begin the exam".
