The Fantasian alliance. Formed by all the collective species on Fantasia. The Fantasia alliance was lead by the leaders of each race on Fantasia.
Similar to the classic fantasy world, Fantasians could use magic through the use of mana cores.
But still, how had my sensors not sensed him and alerted me? My sensors should have been able to pick up on this guy's mana energy readings.
Especially considering how he's not even holding it back in the slightest.
"You were shocked weren't you?" The man spoke, snapping me out of my reverie.
"How come your sensors didn't sense me. That's what you're thinking about right?" He added.
My eyes narrowed as he threw away a device. From my knowledge of the novel, I recognised what it was.
An energy cloaking device. It was designed to cloak the energy the Terran soldiers nano suits gave off.
How did a Fantasian, and a prisoner no less get his hands on one?
"Hahaha..." The man laughed with jot evident on his face as he raised his hands to the sky, joy clearly on his face.
"Thank you kid". He said, which puzzled me. Why would he be thanking me? I wondered as I took a fighting stance.
Regardless of what he was thinking, there was no doubt that he was the enemy. So I guess there isn't really any point in wondering.
"Thanks to you..." He said as his figure blurred reappearing behind me, his sword in hand.
"I get to go home". He added as he slashed at me.
Activating the suit's advanced propulsion system, I dodged and kicked at him but he simply jumped backward.
Tch.
He then launched at me, his blade cleaving through the air.
I watched calmly as his attack slowly approached me, his sword, gleaming in the sunlight filtering through the trees.
Before the attack could reach me, I sidestepped with speed, my nano-tech suit enhancing my agility.
But this guy was no rookie. He seamlessly redirected the attack into a horizontal slash, anticipating my move.
Reacting swiftly, I darted two meters back, evading the slash by a hair's breadth.
My suit's advanced propulsion system allowed me to move with incredible speed and agility.
But this guy still didn't relent.
He pressed on, closing the distance instantly with remarkable speed. His sword flashed in the sunlight, releasing a flurry of attacks at breakneck speed.
Every movement was precise and calculated, targeting weak points on my form.
I countered with my daggers, but his combat experience gave him the upper hand.
He parried my attacks with ease, his sword slicing through the air with deadly precision.
Dammit. This is why I was originally avoiding other people. Against beasts that's manageable.
But against fellow humans. Winning would be nearly impossible.
I stumbled back, my suit's advanced materials scraping against Kael's sword.
The sound echoed through the clearing, a massive expanse of open space surrounded by towering trees.
The sunlight filtering through the canopy above cast dappled shadows on the ground, making it seem like the forest itself was shifting and twisting around us.
The man's attacks further intensified, his sword flashing faster and faster.
I countered with every ounce of strength I had, but he was relentless.
Suddenly, flames erupted from his sword, engulfing the blade in a fiery aura.
I stumbled back, my suit's heat resistance kicking in to protect me from the inferno.
But even with the suit's protection, the heat was intense. I felt my vision blurring, my lungs burning from the smoke.
He then charged forward, his flaming sword flashing in the sunlight. I raised my daggers, ready to keep fighting.
The battle raged on, our movements a blur as we clashed in a flurry of steel and flames.
I stumbled back, my suit's propulsion system struggling to keep me upright.
The man's sword sliced through the air, the flames engulfing everything in their path. I raised my daggers, ready to make a final stand.
But as I looked up at him, I felt my vision slowly darkening.
The flames seemed to flicker and dance, casting eerie shadows on the ground.
Shit. My body was aching. Am I just gonna be disqualified. Am I going to have to become cannon fodder on the front lines.
Hell no.
I gritted my teeth, determination burning within me. There's no way I'm going to just go down without a fight.
With a surge of adrenaline, I launched myself at him, my daggers flashing in the sunlight.
His figure blurred again, reappearing at my side as he launched a brutal kick that sent me flying.
BOOM
And crashing into a tree. My vision darkened as I watched him walk towards me.
