After checking the rankings and deciding the plan for this test, I rushed towards the direction my sensors picked up energy from.
I didn't have to move for long before I came across a clearing about 60 meters wide with trees surrounding it.
Shit.
In the middle of this clearing, there were three large beasts. Most likely mutated rank.
Oh shit.
My heart sank, and for a moment, no, not just for a moment. I was, am beginning to wonder if I'm in over my head.
But I didn't even have the time to do even that.
Why?
Because the beasts had already spotted me, and they were charging. I gripped my mechanical daggers tightly, keeping the grappling hook function at the ready.
I sprinted forward, my nano-tech suit propelling me with enhanced speed.
I aimed for the largest beast, a hulking monstrosity with razor-sharp claws.
As I closed in, I activated and launched my grappling hook, aiming for the beast's thick hide.
The hook bit deep, and I felt a jolt of excitement. I was in this now.
But the beast was unfazed. It swung its massive paw, and I barely dodged in time.
The blow struck the ground with incredible force, sending shockwaves through the earth.
I stumbled back, struggling to keep myself upright. The beast charged again, its jaws wide open.
I raised my dagger, ready to strike. But the beast was too fast. It knocked me to the ground, its claws raking across my suit.
I grunted in pain as the claws scraped against the suit's advanced materials.
The suit held strong, but I couldn't really stay down for long. I had to keep fighting.
With a Herculean effort, I pushed myself to my feet. The beast loomed over me, its eyes blazing with fury.
I launched my grappling hook again, aiming for the beast's neck.
This time, I managed to get a better grip. I pulled myself up, using the beast's own momentum against it.
We crashed to the ground, the beast's claws flailing wildly. I pinned it down, my dagger raised high.
With a swift motion, I plunged my dagger into the beast's heart. It let out a deafening roar, its body shuddering violently before going still.
I stood up, my chest heaving with exhaustion. I'd killed the first beast.
But my victory was short-lived. The other two beasts were charging at me, their eyes blazing with fury.
The second beast, a towering monstrosity with wings as wide as a car, swooped down, its talons extended. I raised my dagger, ready to face what was coming.
But still I'm in big trouble. This beast was unlike anything I'd ever seen before. Its wings generated powerful whirlwinds, making it hard for me to stay upright.
I stumbled back, as i and my suit's system's struggled to stay grounded. The beast dived again, its talons raking across my suit.
I grunted as the talons scraped against the suit's advanced materials.
The suit held strong, but I can't just keep letting it scratch my suit luke this. I had to find a way to take it down.
With a surge of adrenaline, I launched myself at the beast. My dagger flashed in the sunlight, striking true again and again.
But the beast refused to die. It counterattacked, as its talons kept striking my suit with incredible force.
I stumbled back, my vision blurring. Tch. I clicked my tongue in frustration. I'm running out of time.
Oh.
Just then I remembered that my suit had an advanced propulsion system. I immediately activated it.
I then launched myself at the beast, my dagger flashing in the sunlight. This time, I managed to strike its weak point, a glowing core at the center of its chest.
The beast let out a deafening screech, its wings beating wildly as it stumbled to the ground. I stood over it, my chest heaving with exhaustion.
Fuck. I muttered.
But I wasn't done yet. There was still one more beast to kill.
I turned to face it, my dagger at the ready. The beast, a hulking monstrosity with razor-sharp claws, charged at me with a fierce roar.
I stood my ground, my suit's advanced propulsion system allowing me to dodge the beast's attacks with ease. I counterattacked, my dagger flashing in the sunlight.
The beast stumbled back, its claws raking across my suit. But I refused to back down. I kept pushing forward, my dagger striking true again and again.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the beast stumbled to the ground. I stood over it, my chest heaving with exhaustion.
I'd done it. I'd killed all three beasts.
Standing above the corpses of the beasts, I decided to check the rankings list.

Shit. More examinees were eliminated in the time I had been fighting those beasts.
Haaa. I'm tired honestly. Let's just go find one of those prisoners.
Dooom
Suddenly, my instincts screamed at me to jump.
BOOM
Immediately I did, the ground I had been standing on exploded in a shower of dirt and debris.
When the smoke cleared I saw that a giant butcher knife like sword was embedded in the ground.
"Oi, oi, oi". I heard footsteps echoe from behind me, and a raspy voice speak out.
Turning towards the source, a man in jagged clothes with ripped muscles, a haggard looking beard and unkempt hair walked out.
I didn't need anyone to tell me that he was the one who threw the sword. And yet he was not wearing a nano-tech suit.
Yet he was able to exert such force from throw. Which can only mean one thing.
"You one of the brats we're supposed to take down right". He said in a raspy tone.
Yep. As I thought. He's a Fantasian.
