CP : 3 - Crafter System

The Crafter System could be simply explained as the ability to effortlessly perform tasks that typically require mastery, without prior experience.

For example, "Clan Mastery" allowed me to understand the thoughts and priorities of the members of my clan. In other words, it helped me comprehend the inner emotions of those around me.

Additionally, it assisted in guiding clan members correctly. However, it seemed more like a passive skill. Perhaps all my insights about Zhou and Long were thanks to this mastery.

Meanwhile, Aura Mastery was a minor skill essential for dispersing, condensing, or directing energy. With it, I could almost flawlessly discern the strength of other beings. Still, when it came to secrecy, the first choice of many was to suppress their aura.

On the other hand, Mask Mastery was a truly legendary skill. Any mask I created could transfer certain abilities I possessed to its wearer. However, these masks could only contain powers of my choosing.

Additionally, every mask had its own unique status. Each special mask had its own cultivation level, but to increase this level, I needed valuable beast cores.

I quickly crafted three masks. These masks, utilizing my Aura Mastery, allowed the wearer to either conceal their power or appear several times stronger than they truly were.

[Ding!! 3x Special-Class Masks created. Please use beast cores to enhance the masks' Realm.]

Aside from Special-Class Masks, the system also suggested pre-designed templates. Special-Class Masks were more customizable, while the pre-designed ones required specific materials to be crafted.

The masks I crafted fell onto the bed beside me. Each one was uniquely tailored. The mask I chose for myself covered my forehead, cheekbones, cheeks, and upper jaw.

The reason I selected such a mask was simple—I never planned to take it off. Although Wang Jian was believed to be dead, many had seen his face.

If such rumors reached the Emperor, he would certainly take extreme measures. However, for Zhou and Long, I designed more conventional masks.

Their masks covered their entire faces, including the eyes and mouth. Yet, the masks themselves could see—they sensed the auras of surrounding beings.

Moreover, this allowed them to detect powerful presences nearby. Anyone significantly stronger than them would appear red, while harmless entities would appear white.

Additionally, these masks provided limited mental telepathy, allowing me to stay in contact with them.

In the future, I could grant divine abilities to ordinary people with this legendary mastery. However, my priority was different—as long as I could live, I wanted to enjoy life.

Noah had taught me the value of time and the ability to do as one pleased.

"Young Master Jian, your sword brother Long greets you!"

Long stood before me. He was relatively tall and noticeably more muscular than Zhou. His clothes looked slightly dirty—he truly seemed like someone who enjoyed working.

[Name: Wang Long]

[Gender: Male]

[Age: 17]

[Skills: Light Sword Mastery (Intermediate Level)]

[Cultivation Realm: Inner Core Realm, 5th Plane]

[Body: Normal Body (High)]

[Inner Cores: Energy Core, Heart Core (Enhanced)]

Wang Long had the potential to become a crucial figure for the future of the clan. In a few years, the gap between him and Zhou would likely grow even wider.

Long and Zhou stood before me. They were Jian's sword brothers. In simple terms, anyone who trained in swordsmanship at the same time was considered a sword brother. This was an ancient tradition.

The Wang Clan placed great importance on sword training. Until reaching a certain level, learning techniques beyond the sword was frowned upon. Essentially, calling the Wang Clan a Sword Clan wouldn't be incorrect.

"Long and Zhou... Do you still see yourselves as part of the Wang Clan?"

To be honest, was there even a proper way to phrase this question? I wasn't sure... I could feel the emotions in their hearts, but fear was still present in their eyes.

"Young Master Jian, we are ready to wield our swords for you and for the wronged members of the Wang family."

Wang Long had immediately offered his courageous heart. He truly possessed a noble spirit. Zhou, on the other hand, simply followed Long's lead.

As expected, Zhou remained silent. He was aware of our limited options. Yet, it seemed he still wanted to see my potential.

"Upon the heavens and the earth, I swear that everyone responsible for the fall of the Wang Clan will perish."

Long and Zhou looked shocked.

Was Wang Jian not as outspoken as I was? Had I said something wrong?

To be honest, aside from Jian's lingering emotions, I wasn't particularly concerned about this matter.

Despite being sword brothers, Jian and the others rarely crossed paths within the clan. The reason was simple—powerful individuals were constantly demanding to see Jian.

"Regardless... Prepare yourselves. We are heading to General Feng's domain."

General Feng was one of the six generals with his own personal army. Moreover, the Feng Region was a known gathering place for mysterious figures. Ordinary people had no right to settle there.

For civilians or the weak, it was an extremely dangerous place.

However, I had no other choice but to take risks.

The Feng Region was the only place where I could roam freely while wearing a mask. Additionally, Jian's memories recalled that General Feng had warned Jian's father—the clan leader—about the impending assassination attempt.

He had even offered to secretly raise Jian in safety.

But what kind of father abandons his own child?

Moreover, General Feng was not just any soldier. He held political power and had administrative status. His influence in the Imperial Court was significant.

Of course, his political standing didn't concern me—what mattered was how he cared for the people within his domain.

"The Feng Region?! Please reconsider, Young Master Jian!"

Zhou immediately opposed my decision.
