Ch 19: Appearance of a Disaster Class

Seeing that Clara was getting nervous, Alexis smiled slightly at her and told her that he was already aware of her problem. Then he started telling Clara a few things about this ability of hers that even she was not aware of.

After seeing Alexis' potential for themselves, the Hero Association had decided to support him in some ways. So they had asked if Alexis needed any help from them.

Alexis did not really need the Hero Association's help to train his skills and abilities but he had something else in mind that he had a need for. And that was knowledge.

As he was from a somewhat minor nation, even the royal library did not have many good books. So Alexis was vastly lacking knowledge on various things.

He was aware of just how important knowledge actually was. So he asked the help of the Hero Association in this regard.

This was something that the Hero Association was easily able to do as they had a vast collection of books from all over the world. So they started to provide many books to Alexis regarding various different topics. In one such book, Alexis had read about the Eye of Clarity and was aware of the troubles associated with it. This skill was certainly very problematic but it was extremely useful.

Basically this skill allowed to Clara to read the frequency of the essence of a person. Through that she was able to also find out what someone was thinking.

This was actually the easiest application of this ability. As Rein was able to perfectly control his own essence, he was not leaking any of his thoughts for Clara to read.

Even though the headmaster was not able to control his essences as well as Alexis, he was still able to control it better than most. That was why Clara was finding less thoughts in her mind while talking with him.

After he told this to Clara and Glory, they were very surprised. Glory had not really minded Clara avoiding her as she was also mostly focused on her idol. But now that she was thinking about it, Clara's behaviour would look weird to others.

After Alexis stopped talking, Clara asked him a question in a fearful voice. She wanted to know if there was any solution of this problem of hers.

After thinking about it for some time, Alexis lifted his hand and show Clara there fingers. Then he said -

"Your problem had quite a few solutions but three of them would be most suitable for you."

After learning that her problems could be solved, Clara heaved a sigh of relief and started listening to Alexis carefully as he told her about those solutions.

Firstly, Clara could try to learn an acquired skills that would increase her brains processing ability. In this case, even if she was unable to fully control her skill, she would still have an easier time talking with other people and handling their thoughts.

But the main problems related to this solution was it was extremely difficulty. Learning a mind acceleration skill was not easy and it needed special talent. But Alexis was confident that Clara would be able to do it with some practice.

Other than that, Clara could also directly work on the control of this skill of hers. She was doing already something similar but according to Alexis, the training method she was using to increase the control of her skill was not a good one. So Alexis decided to teach her a better technique for this.

Then the third and the final solution was to deactivate this skill. There were special skills which were capable of sealing other skills. So if Clara sealed her Eye of Clarity with one such skill, then she would not have to worry about it's averse effects.

After telling Clara about all the methods to solve her problem, Alexis gave her some time to think about it. Clara's family were also aware of the third method but sealing a skill was very rare and extremely dangerous, so they were unwilling to test this out. Many people did not also have skills capable of sealing a powerful skill like the Eye of Clarity.

Not only that but even with the side effects, the Eye of Clarity was a very powerful skill. So Clara's family wanted Clara to master the skill instead of getting rid of it.

After learning the solutions, Clara mastered up her determination and asked Alexis for a favour with a very shy voice. She did not want to give up on such an amazing skill and wanted Alexis' help to try both the first and the second method.

Seeing the determination in Clara, Alexis smiled gently at her again and nodded his head in affirmation. Even though there would be a hard road ahead of Clara, Alexis was confident in her. Seeing that smile, Clara's face became beet red.

After that Alexis also looked at Glory with the same gentle look and told her that he was very hopeful about her talent and hardwork. Alexis also told her that, if she needed any help dealing with her family, he would be there to help her out.

Hearing that, Glory almost felt like crying. Her idol was supporting her in her fight against her family. Glory was aware that Archduke Langesior would very easily be able to solve her crisis with just a single word.

But Glory did not ask Alexis to do anything of the time being. Instead she decided to fight her own battle and win. After that she would leave her house and would join the Archduke as his subordinate or maybe as something else if she was lucky.

Seeing that he had not judged these girls wrongly, Alexis was happy. Even though he had joined the academy as any child of his age should, the academy did not having for him to learn.

Alexis already had a vast store of knowledge, most probably even more than what the academy had. So he was apprehensive that the academy life would be boring and a time waste for him.

But after finding two such amazing classmates and friends on the very first day, he was slightly looking forward to the academy life now.

After separating with Clara and Glory, Alexis met up with his mother Leyla and went back home. While going back, Leyla asked how the first day of the academy was and in answer Alexis said that it was not as bad as he thought it would be.

From the next day onward, Alexis asked the headmaster to have a seperate class for himself where he could study on his own during the non mandatory classes. The syllabus of the academy was too low level for him and the headmaster was aware of it. So he agreed to his proposal easily.

In his special class, Alexis started to teach Clara and Sophia about various things. He also did his independant training in this room too. Just like that he spend his first year training himself and his two new good friends.

But one day when Alexis was busy explaining a magic theory to Clara and Glory, suddenly one of the teachers barged into his private study room.

Alexis knew this would not happen without a serious circumstances so he looked at the instructor with questioning eyes. Seeing this, the instructor immediately told Alexis that a disaster class monster had appeared in the Nirfall Barrens and soldiers stationed there had asked for his help. Alexis was told to meet with the headmaster for more detail.
